There have been multiple attempts at Guehi during the summer and as early as June. Clearly Quansah was a part of the wirtz negotiations so it despite not having a replacement ready it was THE move. It will get sorted.

I'm with Danish on this. The timing of the Quansah sale was so widely out from other sales that it makes me suspect that it was to facilitate the Wirtz deal.
We sold Kelleher early in the window too, but we knew we had Mamardashvilli on the way anyway.
We will get CBs in before the end of the window, I'm sure, but Quansah having a full pre-season with Leverkusen, I think, was the price for Wirtz having a full pre-season with us.

What we know is we haven’t signed a CB. Does that mean we haven’t lined one up or whatever reason? No.

Slot did not trust Quansah's propensity for making key errors on the field that is why he was sold.

100% agree with Kaiser in this one. He wasn’t seen by Slot as a player he wanted, simple as that. I’m fully confident we will sigma replacement before the season kicks off if not just after.
