Can someone explain how we had money for Guehi in the summer but suddenly we can't afford half of what we were paying then? This looks really really bad for Hughes and Edwards. We are absolutely desperate for a CB. The lad had done everything but signed the contract 4 months ago and now we've let a direct rival come in and take him.
Ed001, this might be just me clutching at straws here and getting it completely wrong but do you think were reluctant to spend money as Slot might not be here in the summer and a new manager will maybe need different types of players depending on how they want to play? In other words saving whatever money we have for the summer for a new manager?

This is quite disappointing really, I'm not prone to complaining about the club on a daily basis but if we don't make any moves for a defender or two this window I too will be pretty upset.

If Hughes and Edwards don't sign a CB this window, they all have to go in the summer. We might win the fa Cup this season but I don't expect anythingelse with what we're producing and a player we're carrying in konate. There's apparent problems between the relationship of the 3 but you can never allow that to effect this football club.

I said a while back I wanted to see four in the administration sacked. It is easy to conclude now why I wanted this done. An aged or injury prone defence. A centre half who has put in some poor performances this season. Fourth place.? Luck will be needed. People on here will not be happy bunnies at the end of the season.

500 million invested to look like this? Perform like this? And probably end up empty handed isn't deserving of sacking the 3 of them? As a business owner, they'd be gone.
