Really disappointing yesterday. Completely chaos at the end and once again we can't manage a game through from a really great position. It wasn't vintage City either but apart from 20 minutes in the second half we were second best. I know the general feeling us that Slot isn't going anywhere just yet but watching the team at the moment the last 10 minutes of every game is like watching a car crash in slow motion.

We need a change and we need it now. We'll be mid table soon and unless we get a bounce from somewhere that's where we'll finish in May.

I think the time for a change has probably passed, we're in a race with Villa for top five. Yesterday's game should be no surprise it had one team well coached, extremely well motivated and pushing for the title, up against a side that still doesn't know whether to stick or twist, with a manager that was lost months ago.

As per usual. We let 45 minutes pass by, put a little more effort in at half time and then lose all sense and shape after 75 minutes.

And they had a week to prepare for it.

By the way, that is a pretty average City team.

{Ed025's Note - i think you have that spot on FPF..

A City team who had also played midweek unlike us.

Anyone still supporting this Slop that is being served up by Slot clearly puts this notion of being loyal no matter what before the health of the club.

Slot is done, but hughes and edwards ego's are in the way - they have to back their man, since they demanded absolute power and now have to prove that they really know what they are doing.

So far the way the money was spent in the summer, buying Isak in those circumstances, whilst not getting Semenyo and guehi instead look like big mistakes.

The way things are going, I can actually see Slot staying as manager, by spinning the story that this isn't his team really, asking for another 500m, and in the process getting rid of the "old guard", such as Ali, Salah, VVD, Robbo, Macca.

That way, he gets to buy his players and we can enjoy the intense football known as Slot-Ball

I'd probably say that Wirtz wasn't his player, so he'll also be gone because Slot just doesn't know how to get the best out of him.

Absolutely massive mistakes. Semenyo showed exactly the fight we want from a player. He was physical and a handful throughout.

Guehi - playing on the left - embarrassed those posters who said he wasn't good enough and it is "only because he is English".

JLC, the guy has given near every excuse imaginable for his own wretched management of the team this season so I won't be surprised with the new whoppers he is going to come up with moving forward.

To be fair to Slot, he did make changes as the game went on to get us on the front foot gradually, before sending us out in the second half to pen them in by having Grav drop deep to carry through the lines or to send the ball long and win second balls. The question is why we didn't do these things from the beginning and why we are so passive when games start, like what are we trying to achieve and why can't we have an effective game plan from the start?

Watching Spurs against City last week it was clear what they are uncomfortable with, and we did that so effectively for half an hour in the second half, why didn't we do that from the start? When we were having such trouble getting the ball out of our own half because Dom and Kerkez were getting forced into pressing traps and everybody was spaced so far apart, why didn't we fix it earlier? I think the thing that's hardest to accept is that I can't see what the plan is supposed to be, it can't be that the plan is to sit around for most of the first half, pray that they don't score and figure out what to do next.

Semenyo wasn't a threat throughout, I thought Kerkez handled him well. For me Kerkez was our best player yesterday.

RJ, Kerkez was outstandingly esp. defensively. His fitness levels are thru the roof. All he has to do is improve his end product on his crossing because that kid can run for days.
