So since the beginning of the year we have scored more goals from set-pieces (excluding penalties) than any other side in the PL.
Seven of our last nine league goals have come from set-pieces, 5 from corners, 1 direct freekick and 1 x throw-in. Time to stop slagging Arsenal off as the set piece merchants ??.

Yeah all at it now, unfortunately. Ironically, it's since our set piece coach has left too. Have to say, though, credit to some of the West Ham players today, namely Summerville, who actually tried to play football and have a go. I really hope West Ham stay up.

Watching yesterday's games, it looks like 60% of all goals came from set pieces, own goals or deflections. It's a funny old game.

Long may it continue, I'm not sure why we weren't hitting those swerving inswingers in the first place, earlier in the season, when Dom and Mo are so brilliant at hitting those? Most of the corners last night were excellent deliveries, it must be said. The less said about the defending for the Mavropanos goal, the better, though.
