If there's one thing to take away from that fantastic game tonight it's the ability to be clinical in front of goal. How many chances have we had this season where we've fluffed our lines and could of ended games earlier.
Every time I watch PSG they are so clinical and put the ball with power in the corners. No harm in going out to them over two legs. Far superior side.

PSG are a very good side, but they are far from invincible. I don't care what anyone says - any defence with Pacho, Hakimi and Safanov in it is able to be exploited.
We'd have given them a much tougher test if we hadn't had a cowardly manager in awe of them.

Spot on, Lowe....
PSG could almost be compared to Rodgers... in that our plan was to always simply outscore the opposition.
We didn't attack PSG, and it became their easiest set of fixtures in the competition.
They didn't even get out of 1st gear against us.
The 2nd leg promises to be another goal fest though, 2 heavy weights slugging it out, can't wait. ?

2 teams with little or no domestic competition are lighting it up in the CL.
How strange.

Celtic should have been lighting up the CL for years then.

Celtic are a club with about 1/50th the finances of PSG and Bayern, JK. We can't pretend that the fact that those two teams can rotate and rest their players in a league that is physically less demanding than the Premier League isn't a huge benefit to them.
They are great teams, studded with brilliant players. Nobody is denying that, but the intensity of their domestic competition surely has to be a big consideration/determining factor in the latter stages of the Champions League.

Thanks PB, well said. ?

Crazy to think. In the last 8 finals there's been
7 PL appearances
2 French appearances
2 German appearances
2 Italian appearances
3 Spanish appearances.
Poor Premier League teams are definitely being victimised by all these other farmer league teams.

Is that why Bayern and PSG always win the CL and no English clubs do?
Finances weren't mentioned just no league competitions.
Pat you come across like someone who would argue with themselves In the mirror.
I'd imagine you would be great fun at games.
