Morning ed's and fellow Reds.
Whats people's view for Sunday, I'd happily take a draw but feel we are going to loose by the odd goal in 3, hope I'm wrong and we move a step closer to CL football for next season.
We need the glamour of the CL to have any chance of enticing the right type of player to bring us forward in the area's that need improving and we all know that there's a few of them.
It remains to be seen if a proper rebuild can be delivered by messers Hughes and Edwards and depending on who's at the helm for 26/27 could either push us back to the dark ages of the 90's or push us on closer to what we become accustomed to under prime Klopp.
I have a bad feeling that we are going to have a couple of poor years as I personally have no confidence in Edwards, Hughes, Slot and his coaching staff and I don't see any changes coming for the 26/27 season.
I really, really hope I'm wrong but can't see major changes in the hierarchy for the foreseeable future which is a worry if they decide to waste more money on players in the wrong area's of the Team/squad that need to be addressed asap.

It's looking like we are United cpl of seasons back when they were petrified of playing us because we hammered them. Not confident at all from this game, hope we scrape a win but take a draw all day.

@NotSoZippy, With the way we play and have been playing, I'd suggest we hold hands and pray cos I literally do not know which LFC will show up.
Even tho, based on what I saw from Utd vs Brentford, they are terrible.
Brentford should have beaten them if only Igor Thiago could figure out which foot he should have used when 1 v 1 with the goalie twice.

As is always the case at Old Trafford, how we start dictates how we do. Every iteration of United starts fast with the crowd behind them whenever Liverpool come to town.
We should be easily beating the United team but quite frankly, we are crap, so anything could happen.

Since that 7 nil drubbing of Utd, our record against them hasn't been the best.
Played 6, lost 2, drawn 3 and won 1.
They will be well up for this on Sunday, and I'm not sure if we will be as up for it.

And anyone still shamelessly defending this manager who is on track to potentially eat 20 losses this season despite being pampered to the tune of 400m plus in transfers needs their whole cranium examined.

You expect us to lose 3 outa the last 4, Oli? Love how the money's getting mentioned more and more. ? What happened to it'll be a miracle if this team gets Champions League? We spent the most of any club for probably the first time since Roy or Kenny, I'd say.
Get over it, the shiny toys didn't deliver. There'll be a different team spending the most this year and we can go back to being good little pawpers. We're more comfortable that way, being able to moan about how much those dastardly Oil clubs spend.
