I hear MMA fighters are currently studying the 'Pickford Takedown'.
They can launch from distance, incapacitate the opposition and then swoop in to strike for the win. :-)

The easy ones are Virgil Van Djik (CB), Moises Caicedo (DM) and Erling Haaland (ST).

Caicedo? I'd say there's better than him, most definitely. VVD? Maybe a couple of seasons ago, but certainly not anymore. Haaland? Hmmmm... possibly. But he doesn't do much else than putting the ball in the net. Is there more he should do? Debatable, but I would put Mbappe ahead of him if I was to choose.
And I do have a personal favorite in Lauturo Martinez. I think he's class. All opinions anyway, FPF, no offence meant by my difference of opinion.

I think probably centrebacks. I don't think individually there's many better than VVD or Saliba. I know Gabriel is often the celebrated one, but he ends up in wrestling matches too often and gets caught under the ball, he seems to misjudge a lot of headers like Konate. Don't know what other CB's really rival either.
Rodri is still one of the absolute best midfielders on the planet.
Haaland is still certainly one of the best strikers on the planet, and depending on what you want from your striker, I think only Kane beats him.
Timber at rightback I really rate. Hakimi has him beat for now.
As a general player's right wing, midfielder, Bernardo is top drawer. I think he could walk into any team in the world.

Haaland's off the ball work has improved a lot this season to be fair to him. Didn't think he had that in him.
I'd love to say Alisson but he's not had a good season.

For me, if Mbappe is being counted as a striker I'd have him over Haaland. I wouldn't have Caicedo in a world 11. Virg for me, with a good partner and more protection, is still the top for me, another few years in him.
I wouldn't say Allison is the best goalie in the world anymore. Misses too much football for me, and logically, as he ages the injuries will become more common.

Salah, Vvd and Allison in their prime, yeah.... But not now. And don't think any premiership team has any World class stars currently,.....the standard of players is seriously dropping whilst they are getting seriously overpaid.
