First time Man Utd doing the double over us in a decade.
• First time losing 6 of 7 games since 1902, until Arne Slot.
• PSV Eindhoven had never beaten Liverpool FC in 112 years, until Slot.
• Manchester City hadn’t done the double over Liverpool in 89 years, until Slot.
• Plymouth Argyle hadn’t beaten Liverpool in 68 years, until Slot.
• Liverpool hadn’t lost a home domestic cup game by 3+ without scoring since 1934, until Slot.
• Manchester United hadn’t won at Anfield since 2016, until Slot.
• Conceded 5 league 90th-minute winners in one Premier League season, until Slot.
• Nottingham Forest hadn’t won at Anfield in 55 years, until Slot.
• Fulham FC hadn’t won at Craven Cottage vs Liverpool since 2011, until Slot.
• Galatasaray SK hadn’t kept a clean sheet vs an English side since 2012, until Slot.
• Chelsea FC hadn’t won back-to-back vs Liverpool since 2014, until Slot.
• Crystal Palace FC hadn’t beaten Liverpool at Selhurst Park since 2014, until Slot.
• Newcastle United FC hadn’t beaten Liverpool in 9 years, hadn’t won a cup game since 1995, and had never beaten them in a final, until Slot.
• Liverpool hadn’t lost to a Championship side since 2017, until Slot.….. I’m sure I’ll
Have more later.

But we've just won three in a row before this game...
03 May 2026 18:01:55
So... what's your point exactly, PostKlopp?
Not sure I'm following what you're trying to say...
03 May 2026 18:08:25
But we had such a good unbeaten run this year? ;)

"There's no point in sacking Slot now."

Generational run from Slot.

#Slot in.

I always find cherry picked stats like this funny as it proves nothing, you can do exactly the same, and cherry pick good ones too for Slot
Most Wins in First 50 Games: Slot set a club record with 36 wins in his first 50 matches.
Best Start: First Liverpool manager to win 11 of his first 12 matches.
Away Record: First Premier League manager to win his first 6 away games.
Highest Win %: Held the highest win percentage of any Liverpool manager in Premier League history (71.4%) early in his tenure.
Fastest to 15 Wins: Fastest Premier League manager to reach 15 wins in all competitions.
To be facetious, we can do negative stats for Klopp too.
First time conceding 7 in a league game since 1963 (Villa 7-2).
First time conceding 5 at Anfield in Europe (Madrid 5-2).
First time losing 6 straight home league games ever.
I am not advocating for Slot but these sorts of things are meaningless really.

Utd and Liverpool put PSG and Bayern to shame today.
They have a non competitive farmers league, and we have the most competitive league in the world that allows players to go on holidays during the week.
We might not have won the game today, but we won the hearts of football fans worldwide, showing it's not all about winning, it's about participation. ?

I'm sure you're being sarcastic. Having 8 more losses already, in comparison to last year, is the telling story. 3 consecutive games won are meaningless in a 38 game season.

JLC, his point is, Slot is in way too deep.
03 May 2026 18:26:29
I mean, Klopp lost to Napoli and Red Sta Belgrade for the first time in our history, and lost 6 games in a row for the first time ever, so I'm not really sure what your point is.

Not an excuse, but both times have been a robbery, Macca head injury last time, this time a handball. The Prem wants its story, hence the weird decisions against West Ham too. They need their soap opera. Fernandeshhhh needs to break the assist record for them.
03 May 2026 18:34:10
JLC, I think he's saying that the manager, who I've given a lot of leeway to, has managed to set a lot of unwanted records in the last 18 months. It's time to move him on.
03 May 2026 19:19:19
Sailor, they 100% deserved to win that game, that was not a robbery, that was game mismanagement and intermittent effort. We were only arsed for 1/3 of that game.
03 May 2026 19:31:45
Man, the literalism on these pages is embarrassing. So many pedantic over stats. I remember arguing with a Liverpool fan who was trying to convince me Lucas Leiva was better than Alonso because he had a better pass ratio. Thought the magic of sight and common sense, that was lunacy, as is anyone condoning that self righteous buffoon in the dugout.
He rightfully got his plaudits last season, but he deserves every shred of criticism now. Woeful doesn't even cut it.
03 May 2026 19:49:04
Give him an extension.
03 May 2026 19:57:12
Exactly what I posted yesterday, Frode. Unfortunately.
