Hi,
I just wanted to say thanks to all the Eds for all the time and effort they put in to making this site what it is.
I remember growing up and the only rumours I could get was via the newspaper or ceefax. I love this site, it gives us a place where we can all mix together, talk about the club we love, and get rumours.
I feel sorry for the eds as I dread to think the amount of posts they go through in a day and the amount of abuse or crap they have to filter out amongst it.
Thanks to all of you Eds, everything you do is appreciated.
Also thanks to everyone that does post rumours on here, especially those who post knowing that they are likely to get abuse for it if things change.
All I ask if people respect the fact that things in football are fluid and will change on a daily basis, so please don't give the Eds or the people who actually take the time to post the rumours crap for it.

Well said SA I am from a similar time it seems watching ceefax on matchday hoping for a goal and also lurked without posting. I just try to not take it too seriously and enjoy the rumours. We're linked with every manager, player and his dog at the minute!
Enjoying the match reviews ed its a shame Arne doesn't see what we do.

Ed, you had me intrigued to find out when I did join the site. I just checked my emails and I had the welcome email on the 22/12/2014 (UK).

I first found this site while procrastinating at college 16 years ago.
Lamborini was a nickname I had at 5-a-side back in Uni - I'm not the most talented footballer and being a Liverpool fan, a friend would say I was a mix of Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini.
Agree with everything you've said about what the EDs have to deal with and with some of the abuse that certain posters have had to deal with. At the end of the day, it is just information. If you agree/disagree or if it's right/wrong - it doesn't affect your life in the slightest.
Thank you to all the Ed's and posters, wouldn't come back to this site almost daily if I didn't think it was enjoyable!

Here here. Thanks to all eds. This is an amazing site and it's all down to them and the great posters we have. I actually have a non existent online social scene as honestly I just prefer to live in the real world where people are more respectful but this is the one place I love as there's good respect around it with the eds deleting the nonsense.
I come here multiple times a day just to read the comments and sometimes post. You are all good guys. And possibly girls.

I think that one of the EDs 01 or 33 or 78 put up a link to the old original Football Rumours site a good while ago! I remember looking back at it. the Logo was blue if I remember correctly?!? . Anyway for me it's the best thing that has ever been available on the Internet! Keep her going EDs and I echo SAs words, mightily appreciated! Fair play to everyone involved in it and the posters that contribute and the readers that just read.

Well it was some idea ED01!! It's mad to think of the simplistic tech back then! I can't even remember how I found here but I remember I accessed it through the old corner PC! The longevity of here is due to what you and your others have put into it. The information available, The posters contributions and the way it is edited.
I'm not blowing smoke here I'm just stating the facts of what it is to me. It has become an integral part of my LFC world and long may it continue. You deserve all the praise you get. H'ON THE RUMOURS!!??????

Just worked out I started following the site in 2013 when it was just rumours and I've gotten a lot more involved in the last year, it took a lot to start commenting, as it destroys my confidence if it was mocked, but love everyone's opinion.

SG tell me about it I couldn't remember signing up and I don't know why I chose SA as my username (Ed can I change it? ) I think I did it just as a quick thing.
All I can remember back in the day is a post about Rodgers, Ed002 (YNWA) ripping me a new one and then going back in my bubble for a few years. ?

Absolutely agree with the sentiments here. I came across the site back when everything was still consolidated in the football rumours site.
Can't remember which player rumour it was, but it was during the January window for the 2008/09 season (that Macheda goal though ?).
Thank you to all the Eds, the legend 002 and of course the posters throughout the years.

Echo this SA, I remember finishing 6th Form during the Torres/Carroll deadline day with the Eds giving constant updates what felt like every ten minutes and being well ahead of everything being reported.

I started here about same time as the Simao rumours so about 05 or something, but I only came sporadically at the beginning. Last few years im here hourly lol.
