So many disappointing players this season but if I'm honest and had to identify the worst three I think I would go with Konate, Gakpo and Wirtz.

Can only see Frimpong being an impact sub next season. Not a RB, could work on the wing but not a defender for me.
Lot of people wanting Kayode, but I've never seen him play.

Frimpong is one of the worst players that I have seen in a Liverpool shirt. Zero positive attributes whatsoever. Zero. Konate is also one of the worst players that I have seen in a Liverpool shirt. Whoever is considering awarding such a donkey with a lucrative extended contract is another that should be immediately removed from the club.
Remove McAllister, Jones, Chiesa, and a few others, and only then are we heading in the right direction for change.

End of the day, Frimpong is a wing back. He's obviously not good enough, but he's playing out of position coz we don't use wingbacks.
Reminds me of Elliot when we used to stick him left wing. Doesn't matter if he's good or terrible, he's out of position and that can't be ignored when debating his season being a failure.

All this Wingback stuff is nonsense. He's either a right back or a Winger. If he's a rb, he should be able to defend. If he's a winger, he should be able to cross the ball. I'm assuming, then, that a wingback should be able to do both.
He can't do either, so he's not anything. I'll borrow an adaptation of VV's phrase from earlier. He's a non-footballer. Rubbish. Sell him in the summer for whatever pittence we can salvage from the original fee. He's only going to get worse, not better.

Salif Diao, El Hadji Diouf, Christian Poulsen, Mark Gonzalez, Sebastien Leto, Steven Caulker, Paul Konchesky, Andriy Voronin, Sean Dundee, Markovic, Mario Balotelli, Antony Le Tallec, Jokanovic are just a few of the players who were worse footballers than Frimpong.
Houllier and Benitez signed an incredible number of shite players for this club.
Nobody has covered themselves in glory for Liverpool this season, but to label them the worst to have ever worn the shirt is ridiculous.

Florian, I know you like to defend your boy every chance you get by deflecting his mistakes onto the players, but your comment is ridiculous. Seriously, the lengths you are willing to go to deflect from the blame this manager deserves is quite appalling at times.
Now here's a thought experiment: Maybe you should ask your boy why Wirtz, who has been mint wherever he has played whether for Bayer or for the German team, is piss awful under your boy and his tactics that have, btw, not improved a single soul in the squad this season.
And why does Wirtz play every attacking position (R/L touch line winger or the false 9) except the actual position he was brought in to play as in the central no. 10 role?
Also, Wirtz (no. 10) was brought in to play with Szobo (an 8), not to replace him cos Szobo is not a no.10/creator and Wirtz is not a no. 8 runner who can cover ground, get forward and combine with him.
