Well I hope I am wrong but it is looking like we are sticking with Slot and we are stuck with him.
I can only hope that he finally gets his head out of his ar$e and goes back to the tactics that he employed earlier in his managerial career.
He has made noises in recent interviews that we need more pace in the squad. Plain for all to see.
He also said we need to get fast, direct and skillful wingers who play on the correct side.
Right footed wingers on the right and left footed wingers on the left.
He said this will help play to Isak's strengths.
All he needs to add to that then is
1- Fitness Levels
2- Less Injuries
3- Physicality
4- Desire
5- Ability to tackle
6- Ability to win 2nd balls
7- Holding midfielder
8- Better Tactics
Not a lot really.
What could go wrong?

Whether they want him to stay or not, it's too toxic now and they know it. He's finished at the club.

It's Rodgers 2014/15 all over again. I always thought the purpose of history was to learn from it and not make the same mistakes.

Just because we didn't get Alonso doesn't mean we're sticking with Slot; officially, the decision hasn't been made yet, in my opinion. I can't see him surviving, to be honest.

If Slot stays, it doesn't matter who we sign. I won't be watching. I've spent virtually the whole season shouting at the TV because the idiot can't see the most obvious mistakes. If he can't see these glaring mistakes over 9 months, then he's not going to turn us into prem winners again.
As far as I am concerned, Slot has embarrassed our club on and off the pitch. As soon as there's a new manager, I'll 100% back him and fully support and watch again.

Maybe he saw my 4-4-1-1 post the other week.

Plus pressing, playing on the front foot and creating more chances from open play. Klopp's legacy doubters to believers - Slot's legacy champs to chumps.

We could sign 2012 Lionel Messi and Slot would have him playing like Noni Madueke by October.

No, we're past the point of no return. Slot staying is simply untenable unless half the players are let go; which we know will not happen. And getting royally drubbed by Aston Villa was the final nail in the coffin, in my view. And so much internal discord has come out in the open, in recent weeks, that change is inevitable.

We all of a sudden want wingers... So what happened with Semenyo?
Smoke and mirrors all over the place.
Sooner Slot, Hughes and Edwards go... the better.
