Ed01 said that Iraola left Bmouth because he thought it was time to step up and win things. Clearly, he was never going to do that with Bmouth even tho, coming 6th is a big deal with them.
The hope is he can bring the front foot footie back, fans are onside and our opps. are pooping their pants.

Oli, besides the obvious challenges of stepping up from Bournemouth to Liverpool, I am so intrigued to see how he adapts his methods to a club that is expected to be competing at the pointy end of all 4 competitions.
I love the intensity, in principle, but recognize that needs to be tempered by the reality of how sustainable that is for a club set to play 50+ games, the nature of the league and likely tactics we will face, and also the stark reality of the current condition and size of our squad.
All exciting challenges to look forward to seeing how he overcomes them.

I think the intensity is absolutely sustainable with the right players and a padded enough squad. There are some players who are not going to be up to the demands, but that will be on them, not the system.

Faithinworks, all you have said is what excites me about "Doni". The guy is a very smart cookie and smart people know what they know and admit that they don't know what they don't know hence, they seek counsel and advice on such things. Klopp was that way when he arrived and even he struggled with the amount of games we were playing at the time.
Hence for me if "Doni" has as big of an ambition to win things (as Ed01 has said) then, he will seek the information required to handle these challenges esp. with managing a squad playing every 3 days and managing injuries, poor form, etc. Klopp again, did the exact same thing. i'm not panicked that much, tbh.
