Journalists are trying to spin narratives and stories to continue keeping up their clicks, and/or social media 'influencers' are trying to get more likes and follows.
Unless your source is not one of these, I wouldn't believe it.
Transfers don't happen minute by minute, just as 24-hour news can be pretty boring, as news doesn't always happen round the clock.
I keep saying that most of our business will happen towards the end of the window for obvious reasons. It makes sense. But, I also am with most of us who need our hourly/daily dopamine hit, so I get it.

Barcola is a great player, but nobody is worth 150m euro unless it's Yamal or Kvaratskhelia. Walk away from Diomande and Barcola. They're talking crazy fees now.
Just keep Gakpo, and then replace Chiesa with another more cost-effective winger option to grow alongside Rio and Munoz. Fernandez-Pardo, Minteh or El Mala would do nicely. They'd all be more in the £50-70m bracket, I think.

I'm not saying the claim is legit, but if Leipzig want EUR130m for a 19 year old with 1 good season, I don't see why PSG wouldn't ask EUR150m for a 2x Champions League winner.

Barcola is a great player, yet the greatest manager currently in the game is happy to see him move on. These World Cup matches are overrating a lot of players. The season has shown a lot to be what they are, which certainly isn't "great".

I disagree, @Ron. Barcola isn't a great player. He is a good player with the potential to develop further but whether or not he steps up to the next level is open to debate.

I agree with you, WDW. Barcola and great player do not belong in the same sentence. Khavaraschelia? Yeah. Now, that's a great player who was more proven and better than Barcola was at Napoli even before he went to PSG and put Barcola's arse on the bench.
Even Doue is better than him.
Sorry if these players are better and well ahead of you then, a great player you simply are not.
