Apparently all World Cup players will get a minimum 3 week break.
One podcast said that Dutch players and Wirtz return half way through the week after the squad go to US on tour.

Pity they never followed Harvey Elliot and reported back a full week earlier, especially having had a full season off under Arne Slot, and especially one being the current LFC club captain?
What a fillip and example to the current players and academy players that would have been for the whole club and the new manager/staff to come back a week earlier, showing that last season was hopefully a one off never to happen again?

Are we looking at the same player? I've looked through most of the training photos and Elliott does not look overweight in the slightest.
