Hello Reds,
Anyone else becoming increasingly concerned with the lack of movement this window?
I know we are probably locked in with Barcola now and would expect that to get over the line.
Still feel like we need another 3/4 quality players to come in and bolster the squad, for me it’s not just about getting in the quality but it’s about giving Iraola the time he needs to work with them.
Have heard rumours in regards to defenders but we are scarily thin at the back and we look incredibly light depth wise.
How many players do you reckon we will bring in?

Not too concerned just yet, KK, as I'm sure there are steps going on quietly behind the scenes to get certain targets in?
We've probably done the same amount of business so far, as our other major competitors and buying clubs might be a bit reluctant due to the massively inflated prices being dished out atm.

We do really need to get to moving but we're not the only club finding it difficult to get deals moving right now.
I'm sure we can get a few done but worry that we will take more squad risks again as we have done in previous windows.

I think my concern is I want the new coach to have the best start possible and doing so means giving him as much ammunition from the start, let's hope we can tie up a few deals quickly.

We got a good coach. He will need lots of time.
But I agree, Liverpool are not helping with these drawn out transfers and lack of them.
The squad is not good enough defensively right now, and it's a huge, huge worry.

I don't think Liverpool can win the Prem this season. We've got too many holes in the squad.
But, on a positive note, our new Manager has turned up to excite the Fans, make Anfield electric again, and I think we could possibly have a real crack at number 7.

The recruitment team have had 5 months notice that a Salah replacement was needed. This should have been sorted months ago, ready for registration day 1 of the window.

Pretty sure we are not gonna sign anyone, not even Barcola, because it seems to be a saga now. Hughes is going to leave us short again. Poor Iraola, if he knows what he gets into, pretty sure he wouldn't come.

He was never a sporting director before. Pretty sure Iraola is being lied to. In every press conference, he mentions how thin our squad is, how he wants cb or rb or wingers. And what is happening? No one. No one. For me, the season is already thrown away because of Hughes.
Nobody can convince me that only we cant work faster or on a couple of deals, or that we are the only ones who work in shadows. Actions speak louder than words. And right now, the words are no transfers.

I am genuinely not as concerned about the forward line. I think Isak, if fit, will score a ton for us, and it's more about supplying him. It's the lack of the defensive depth we have that worries me the most. We are a Virgil injury away from starting the club mascot at CB.

Rudjo, it was all down to Slot, last season, so we'll be fine. We should've walked the league with the squad we had.

Not bothered, at all. Transfers are very unpredictable, volatile and uncontrolable in terms of circustances cos there are too many variables to contend with.
Why would I worry about such a process with absolutely no guaranties? A waste of my mental health, really.
