I can't believe that our fans and the media are not stressing over the fact we have no cover for Frimpong at right back considering he is not good enough to start games consistently and injury prone.
Also Isak is injury prone. If he gets injured we have no striker! We need other signings at left wing, right wing and midfield but right back and striker is vital and could leave us exposed bigtime.

Because we have a CB who can cover RB. We also have Gakpo who can cover CF... really that simple!

Gomez, Araujo and Leoni can cover Frimpong at rb until Bradley is back from injury.
Gakpo, Barcola, Munoz, Wirtz, Chiesa, Wright and Danns can all cover Isak until Ekitike returns.
It may not be ideal, but it's hardly disastrous.

I more can't believe that people think it's a sensible approach to buy a ST when we have 200mil worth in our squad already. What happens to the third/new signing once Hugo is back?
I also think Frimpong deserves a chance to prove himself this year with tactics that should be much more suited to his game.
He played well against Como.
His injury record was also stellar before signing for us and wonder if the lack of fitness paired with a more physical league contributed to his injuries.
