Great article on BBC Sport about Lewis Koumas (currently on the first page).
He's one I really really want to succeed - born in Chester and has been a Liverpool fan since birth, as has his Dad who played in youth teams with Gerrard and Owen at Liverpool.
He's a bit of a slow burn - 21 and only just breaking through - but we had another Welsh striker a few years back who had a similar trajectory, and he did OK.

He came with a big reputation as a teenager & soon lived up to it.

I'll take your word for it Rigsby, his breakthrough at the start of the 1980s was a wee bit before my time - when I started following us, he was already established (mid-80s).
I was looking purely at the fact that he didn't get his first full season (according to the stats - and by full I mean 30+ games) until he was a similar age to that which Koumas is now.

No worries, Zed, and you're right that Rush's first full season was his second with us.
He was 20 at the start of the season but we went on to win the League and he was our top scorer.
I'd be happy if Koumas achieves half of what Rush did, mate.
