These reports are really great to read. Much appreciated ED01. The back line is starting to look very much improved however I'm still not a Kerkez fan but admittedly Rayan didn't get much change out of him either! I'm really looking forward to the Man City one!!????.

It is so frustrating when you see great creators having to look bad as no-one makes the right run. I see it at all levels and sports.
The ball is played and no-one moves to that space. They should know each other by now and surely it is shown in the analysis sessions with the players.
{Ed001's Note - Barcola is now & Isak just doesn't look fit. I am sure it will improve.

If he does it right, they will be fired up and at it, but if he doesn't, they will have their future in the back of their mind and all the worries over what will happen.}

Great review, Ed. Thank heavens you're here to offer such balanced, nuanceed and effective analysis on our games & plyer/manager performances because what we are being afflicted with by the media is like pulling teeth or hearing someone continuously scratch a fork on a plate.
I agree with your assessment of the players and the way the game went. it was a very hard game indeed because B'mouth were up for it for obv. reasons. LFC did some good things but that connection btw midfield and attack is still a work in progress because you not only have new players playing a new system, we have players form last season like Wirtz and Isak lacking in confidence to execute their decisions properly.
Glad we got the win under the difficult circumstances with a clean sheet to boot.
On to the Eternel Cheats at Anfield next.

Not sure if anyone caught Virgil's interview after the game. He mentioned the pitch was extremely dry. Klopp used to mention the surfaces from time to time when the accuracy of the forward play was lacking which I know would rile fans.
While none of like to hear excuses, for players like Wirtz who play football like they are neurosurgeons, it probably does have some impact on their game.

Love the reviews!
One thing I agree we need to improve is the off the ball movement. I yelled a few times at my screen when no one was moving when any of the midfielders or Wirtz had the ball.
