GivemeSport reporting that Newcastles owners have put a block on Isak leaving the club.

So it seems he won't be coming - not this summer anyway.

Anyone know how reliable Givemesport are?

They're not!

Just relax and stop scouring the internet for clickbait is what I advise.

Not at all. Don’t know why people are stressing. He is 90% likely to come and if he doesn’t we already upgraded Nunez with Ekitike and will buy a winger. Not the end of the world at all.

Not really. they're the Fiat 500X of sports sites.

Who is reliable nowadays? I read a lot of websites and they're all the same. Either regurgitating what others write or click bait to keep their advertising revenues at a minimum level.

These are the cough. journos who provide for that site Fabrizio Romano, Ben Jacobs, Dean Jones and Tom Bogert amongst others. I'd take anything on there with a dumper truck full of salt.

Nothing going to happen until Newcastle sign a couple of attacking players. Everyone I trust from this site are all saying the same thing. Not only that, it’s common sense! Why would Newcastle leave themselves short up top, with everyone knowing that they have a big bag of cash to spend, from the Isak deal? They would get fleeced!

I think ed001 is reliable, and ornstein obviously. On the Newcastle side it appears hope and downie have genuine info and on the Liverpool side I guess the likes of Joyce, lynch etc are fed varying chunks of info from the club, but not before the athletic get a hold of it, when we send a bid in I expect to get an update for an ornstein exclusive from my athletic app subscription.

If it is true then it is just making it even harder for Newcastle to sign players.

It doesn't matter how much money the owners have, it does not make them a big club (relative to the likes of us) and players still dream of playing for bigger clubs and see Newcastle as a stepping stone to achieving that dream.

If potential signings see promises being broken and players being held at the club against their will they will not want to sign for them.

Newcastle really need to get the situation in check asap or the whole sport-washing 'project' could crumble very rapidly.

NU are in a difficult spot, stopping Isak transfer or blocking, when he expressed multiple times last season he wanted out,

Honestly let them have Nunez on loan for a season, he gets champions league football, regular playing time and can only increase his sell ability.
