Hi all,
A lot has gone tits up at the club since my last update. Board are very frustrated with Salah comments, the squad are disappointed and the dressing room is split. The situation has now become untenable, particularly as of this morning, for Mo Salah. I fear Hughes intends on making an example of him.
Additionally, I’ve now come to learn that Heitinga is on our short list for potential interim managers should Arne Slot depart through resignation or otherwise.
All bad ideas I fear but it’s what I know. Very delicate times at the club, so updates are going to be a bit more frequent. I will let on as and when I hear stuff through the grapevine.

Ok victor clutching at straws.

There is absolutely no way that Heitinga is under consideration for the interim manager role. Not after his performance as manager with Ajax, no chance. And, if he is, then we are in far worse trouble than any one of us could have possibly imagined.
It is amazing that, when you think things couldn't get worse, they somehow find away of doing just that. Yesterday, felt down due to the result, but thought at least I don't have to concern myself with Liverpool till Tuesday, then BOOM Salah interview comes to light.
Incredible the contrast between last season and this one. The transformation is almost unprecedented. From Champions, to spending 450 million (Something FSG has never done before) only to lose game after game, followed by disappointing performance after performance. Not to mention the news of Jota's passing, being the hardest to take.
It has been a rough time to be a Liverpool fan, this season.

Hetinga with Gerrard as cheerleader?

Mo probably can’t come back from here, and probably not Arne either.
If there’s a change now I think Hughes and Edwards will be in self protection mode and will play it fairly safe with someone they know or have worked with before with club links.
The obvious ones who would be available and who know the club and Edwards are Rodgers and Jurgen, but they didn’t get on with him.
There may be someone like Stevie who’s had a coaching or ambassadorial role, or is around the club a lot on match days, who they’ll know. That doesn’t mean they’d have the minimum requirements for the job though.
Can’t think of many others. Heitinga maybe, or is he too closely aligned with Arne.
I’m not commenting on ability, just thinking what they’re likely to be looking for.

It’s being reported in a few places there’s an emergency club meeting today, and also a split in the dressing room with VVD and several others backing Mo.

Salah and Slot must leave the club ASAP, no human being is bigger than Liverpool Football Club and never will be, we will get on just fine without the two of you.
Liverpool Football Club has had far, far more tragic times in the past and has always come back stronger, two people throwing their toys out of the Pram is laughable to past events.
Lenny HENRY needs to get on his private jet and get over here and sort his mess out himself, firstly asking the players what is the Beef all about? not addressing them as a Group, the only way to get the truth is to ask players one to one, in a group players will be reluctant to speak the truth.
I note one of our sponsors is "AXA" Salah and Slot must be the first for the "AXA"! they both must go together ASAP, that gets rid of the smell for starters and the media witch hunt? So LFC can make a fresh start?
