He's young, he's able to cut it in the Premier League, he closes down hard, he's always busy, he's 2 footed and he has good technique.
Many is the time he's controlled the midfield against us.
If he's available we should be in for him.

Ok, maybe not "controlled", what I wanted to say was "won the midfield battles against us".
He has, he's out-battled our midfielders.

Good player, decent in the tackle, good passer, good shot, decent in the air and is fast and mobile. What's not to like? I'd take him no problem, him and Anderson would be great.

Whereas, it's not a very high bar out-battling our non-existent soft as volcanic diarrhoea midfield, he was their best player on the pitch when they played us and has been their best midfielder all season. I'd definitely take him over injury prone dross like Camavinga.

Think any negativity around him has always been about his attitude. Most times I've seen him play, he's been good, and, like Victor says, it doesn't take much to improve on this season's midfield.

Anderson will be a Man City player by June, no doubts about it, lined up as Rodri replacement.
Liverpool have never pursued a deal for Anderson, and to be honest, I still think there are better players out there.
Our summer targets should be some of the following:
Right Back: Kayode, Gertruida
Left Back: Grimaldo, Palestra
Midfield: Wharton, Ederson, Stiller, Sadiki, Fernandes, Gomes
Wingers: Diomande, Olise (Not likely), Gordon, Barcola (Less Likely).
