Hi all,
Liverpool are closing in on agreeing personal terms with Bradley Barcola. As it stands, we are the only club in the race.
Next up, discussing the fee.

Do we really think it'll take the £120m+ that's been reported, or do we reckon it'll come down from there?
17 Jul 2026 15:21:55
Thanks for the good news, Victor.
I guess Barcola is the top priority after all.
Besides Barcola, who's the target?

Thanks VG.

Once PSG sign their choice of wingers (we know who they want). There will be a chance of price drop, but still see it to be around £100 million mark.

Thanks Victor!

I am not sure on the fee - but if I had to guess I would assume somewhere in the region of 100-115m.

Great player. Proven in Europe and international. Just in a very, very good well established PSG, so hope people don't think of him as a PSG reject.

'Scuse my ignorance, but would we agree personal terms before a fee with the club?
I.

I just got pushed. He primarily played on the right and not the left!! We have already signed a Spanish left winger and have other options there as well. I'm guessing if we are paying that much we must be looking to play him on the right??!!

Barcola for £130m?! No thanks, he's second choice at PSG f***. At this rate I'd rather just bribe Brighton's recruitment team for a few tips and find 2 unknowns to play on the wings.

Cheers, Victor.

Sorry, is the pounds or euros vg?
17 Jul 2026 16:07:27
Pounds.

Rigsby yes we would .one of the Ed's answered this question recently. I think they agree personal terms after permission from clib to speak with player and then the bid comes in .I am guessing but this is why information can change fast as personal terms can be agreed with players and then a bid never follows as clubs switch targets

Chewy, it's no shame being second fiddle at PSG, Ekitike was that, chose to leave and has been great up until his injury. Very negative.
17 Jul 2026 16:35:51
I say goddamn, Victor!! Ta for the post.
17 Jul 2026 16:39:32
Rigsby, I believe it's quite normal for clubs to negotiate with the player's agent before finalising the price with the other club. Otherwise, if the player isn't interested, it would just be a waste of time.

Would be a great signing for me, and I really couldn't care less about the money.
Let's hope we can get this one done because I think he'd rip it up. He's exactly what we need.

I'd happily take him. He's a great talent and fits how Iraola plays.
I think him wanting to leave PSG and challenge himself is a good sign. Reminds me of Wirtz almost. Barcola could easily choose to stay in his comfort zone in France, earn a nice salary, and win easy trophies with PSG, but he wants to come here and prove himself as a starter in a foreign environment and tougher league.
