Hi all,

Camavinga is surplus to requirements at Real Madrid. Mourinho told the player that he is free to sign for another club.

The Frenchman wants to stay at Madrid but there were some rumours about him and us. Did some of you guys heard anything in the last days?

On Akliouche, LFC is ready to outbid PSG and eventually get close to the 70M€ price tag that Monaco wants for the player.

However, the French winger wants only PSG as he already has agreed personal terms with them. Nevertheless, Monaco will accept the highest bid so let’s see what happens here. Maybe a tactic to force PSG to lower Barcola’s price.

Cheers,

Red Ronson.

Would not be keen on Camavinga. He always has a hot head when playing and cost Madrid a few times recently with red cards or bad tackles, leaving his team light.

Would also be wary of Akliouche. If he wants PSG, let him stay at Monaco or go to PSG, as we could sign him but he will still want to end up at PSG later on, so will likely not want to remain at us, the way I look at is if he has a purple patch and in a couple of years PSG come knocking he will do what he can to move rather than remain at us.

What happened to Camavinga? I remember a couple of years ago he would have been my dream signing for our midfield. I don't watch any LaLiga, but has he regressed or is he just not being played?

I don't see Akliouche as an upgrade on Elliot personally.

That's been well known for a while now. I think he has had injury problems, and would likely demand a high wage. I don't think he would cope with the demand of PL football.

There is a player there in Camavinga. The Madrid move has not worked favourably for him - being shafted and square pegged into all sorts of various positions like lb, 6, 8, rw, even. At 23, if there is a market opportunity to be struck, I would not be opposed. Have read that United are most posed to get him, however.

Avoid injury.
Prone and overpriced, unproven players from farmers leagues. Bed in youngsters and wait.

Swap for McAllister??

A fit Camavinga is a perfect signing for us.
Unfortunately, a fit Camavinga is unlikely given his injury history.

I would stay well clear of Camavinga or any Real Madrid player for that matter.

Dean Huijsen is the only one worth to consider, imo. Obvious bags of talent at 21yo, and has done pretty well with Andoni Iraola before.

Would have to be in another window though, as Mourinho seems to like him and they are not ready to sell just yet. Ideal profile to take over from Virgil in a year or two...

Great news that, cheers, Vic.

Camavinga is always picking up injuries. I'd prefer somebody more robust.

I'd def take Camavinga, would be a perfect fit for our lacklustre midfield. A bit of fight and bite. A top talent still!

Really like Camavinga as a player, but that's when he's able to stay on the field. Would love for him to join if the injury issues have been "resolved", but not sure that will ever happen.

I will say this on Madrid players - it's extremely rare they sell someone still worth having. It does happen, but generally they're very good at identifying players whose best days have passed and getting maximum value.

On Camavinga, he's well liked by pretty much everyone, despite what someone else said, Jose likes him because he's got a great work rate, plays multiple positions, never rocks the boat and defends well.

His issue is injuries, he gets a lot of muscle injuries, and it tends to happen as he hits his stride. Think of him as Madrid's Joe Gomez.
