Hi eds,

Do you think citu can get thier ban cleared as it seems if they don't play CL for 2 seasons the league would be a walk in the park for them. Also any updates on our summer targets. Kai havertz and jadon sancho. I did read you said sancho has a insane overall fee including agent fees but why would we then declare interest.

Kai Havertz (AM) Bayern Munich will likely move for KH if the option on Philippe Coutinho not taken up, but interest from elsewhere - particularly Barcelona (if Coutinho leaves), Manchester City (as a David Silva replacement - although you can probably scratch that for now) and Juventus. Interest of Milan will likely not go anywhere. Dortmund and PSG have both certainly spoken with his agent. Numerous other clubs have had scouts watch including Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid who have watched him on a number of occasions but either don't see the value in the price or have other targets. With other transfers it is likely that we can remove the interest of Real Madrid, Manchester United can also be removed from the mix after completing the Bruno Fernandes transfer. Whether Liverpool wish to throw their hat in to the ring is another matter. Bild wrote an article citing interest from Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid - and then went on to write another saying Manchester United and Manchester City have spoken directly with the player - which they have not. Somewhere down the line an English paper added Liverpool as one of these clubs. Right now, Liverpool has not made any approach to Bayer Leverkusen regarding the player, and they should think very carefully about value for money – the asking price is very significant. Regardless, an enquiry is likely not too far away.

Jadon Sancho (RW) The total cost of the full package (transfer fee, agent fee, signing on fee and FA payment) is simply outrageous - otherwise he would be moving to Chelsea. Some interested sides will be shocked in to stepping back because of the costs - so Inter can be removed as they are looking to take another youngster from England; Juventus have other players they will look to first; Manchester City see him as over priced and have their mind focussed on something else. Manchester United are keen but the budget may not stretch and they have been talking (yesterday actually) to another side about taking a young player in the summer but they could return with an offer. Jadon Sancho is down the list and too expensive for Barcelona - he would want assurances of game time and he not first choice for them as they have a priority signing who will soak up a lot of the funds. Real Madrid have a different primary target who will cost a world record fee which will kill any chance of a move if it happens. PSG are not looking at Sancho and expect a similar, although older, player to be offered to them in part exchange in the summer. If Liverpool are looking to replace Salah I think there are cheaper options who would suit their needs available. So potentially an option for all of these sides but the total cost would need to change considerably for something to happen.

It is largely down to one person and his demands, what the player is open to and whether or not Dortmund are willing to work on the price. If you look at the clubs as options, the player has made it clear a return to London and joining Chelsea would be his preferred choice, but they are not going to pay for the total package as it is costed right now. Manchester City are in a similar place financially as Chelsea - and don't see anywhere close to the value in the player. Liverpool would need to let go of Salah and commit a lot more money to make it viable - I can't see that is the plan and it would be disruptive and rather stupid if they went down that road. Real Madrid and Barcelona both have high end targets that will soak up significant funds and will be ready to go immediately they join - they are likely unimpressed by the risk associated with the potential benefits. As for Manchester United, they remain in turmoil with no direction and the player wants to move elsewhere - they could throw money at the problem but it would then mean they don't have the funds left to fix the more significant issues. Dortmund may try and work the Euros and him excelling to try and leverage more from the English sides - but that would be a high-risk plan for all. Else he stays at Dortmund. There has been a further discussion with one of these sides in the coming days - so right now it remains up in the air.}

Hi eds,

Reading into the city gossip and the potential investigations the prem are going to conduct. It seems inevitable that somewhere our name will come up and if found guilty we going back to the hicks and gillet era if the owners say enough is enough and shut up shop. Do you think all is buried or will we face some sort of consequences for our previous actions. Cheers.

Why do some supporters always look to the negative, or worse still hope there'll be a negative so they can have a reason to slate their club. i see it with my own mates it's as if they've gotten so used to being able to moan about something for the last 30 years they are actually now miserable that were the best team on the planet with a glorious future ahead.

Is a Timo Werner transfer to us all hinging on bobby leaving? If it ain't broke no need to fix it. Would hate to see bobby leave. Maybe if ever a transfer does happen he would be f8ghting for his place with Salah who as we know somewhere down the line would want out. Can you shed any light on this.

I'd welcome TW but if I have to choose, Firmino stays, he's more important than people think. Personally (and I know nothing, just guessing) I see salah leaving this summer more than anyone.

Without doubt salah. Firmino all day over werner. I don't think the wingers are as good without him, especially salah who seems to bounce off Bobby quite a bit.
