Hi eds,

Do you happen to know who are the priorities for the left back spot for Liverpool? Couldn't find it in search.

Thanks for all the great work👍.

msheisenberg

{Ed001's Note - as has been said repeatedly, Sessegnon and Tierney, with Pereira, who can play both full back positions as another option there.}

I really like the look of this Pereira guy. Stats look good too. Definitely an upgrade on Clyne and a teacher for Arnold. Here's hoping!

I think tierney could be the best option.

Morning Eds, with Bissouma now I assume pretty much ruled out as a target due to his arrest, do you think Frank Kessie might move to the front of the line? If not, who is near the top of the CM target list?

msheisenberg

{Ed002's Note - Bissouma has not been found guilty of anything.}

1.) 08 Oct 2021 11:16:20
Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Just because you get arrested or charged doesn't automatically mean guilt has been proven. It's not fair to automatically brand someone.

2.) 08 Oct 2021 11:52:13
Spot on Joe, accusations like this can ruin an innocent person's life and we all know footballers are targeted. Innocent until proven otherwise, same with anyone.

The OP must think he's in the USA, maybe he is 🤔.

4.) 08 Oct 2021 18:41:45
Pete that's very true, but there's also the ones that are so arrogant they think they can do as they please.

5.) 08 Oct 2021 21:22:45
It'll be interesting to see if it goes to court. They shouldn't be able to take it that far unless they've got some sort of evidence to present to the judge and jury.
And even then the truth can get lost while opposing legal teams strive to discredit each other's clients.
It's a very messy business and it's unfair on both parties to speculate.

Hi ed 002, if you are around, I would like to know your views on the financial side of Liverpool's summer window business? I think its fantastic that the club managed to recoup more money than they spent while still strengthening the squad (bar full-backs of course) .

You have said in the past that Liverpool need to curb their spending and get white elephants off the books to stop losing money. With the TV deal money also inbound, how much pressure do you think this window's business would have lifted off the owners' shoulders?

Any response would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

msheisenberg

{Ed002's Note - Financially Liverpool have done well this window. We will see how it pans out on the pitch. obviously the television money is very welcome.}

1.) 01 Sep 2016 23:20:52
Good to hear, Ed.

2.) 02 Sep 2016 01:32:05
It's going to happen eventually it's just a matter of who an when, wouldn't be taking much interest in what any of the papers say about it though if I'm honest.

3.) 02 Sep 2016 04:27:13
But eds, come think about it, the tv money advantage is applied across board to all clubs. What it serve is just inflate the prices of players. of course a club can do less purchase and spend the money on other in vestments like bigger stadium better dressing rooms better youth program etc. so it really is not a competitive advantage to Liverpool.

{Ed002's Note - Nobody said it was a competitive advantage to Liverpool - you need to read the osts more carefully.}

Hey Ed002, could you please explain how Klopp played into Balo's agent's hands?

Thanks.

msheisenberg

{Ed002's Note - Managers do not come out and make public statements about the future of players - aside from being unprofessional it removes all leverage that the club may have. I have explained already that what he did suited Mino who is working on a little something.}

1.) 25 Jul 2016 14:31:37
it could explain why Mario is so relaxed about his situation, knowing that mino has something up his sleeve.

2.) 25 Jul 2016 15:09:09
We have tried everything possible to get rid, but to no avail, nobody wants him, didn't really leave klopp much choice!

3.) 25 Jul 2016 16:41:04
Imagine this. You see a STRIKER clean in, One on One in a game. Must score
He puts one foot on the ball, drags his body round and attempts to back heel it into the net. The ball goes closer to the corner flag than it does to the goal, and the keeper just looks at him like a right dick.
And then your Club goes and signs him. That's Liverpool and Balotelli for you.

4.) 25 Jul 2016 18:35:02
Mino has always got something ready, very well connected man he is. his nickname should be the "pied piper"

Hi ed 0002, i am really intrigued to know why Klopp's supposed odd targets don't surprise you? Because the likes of Wijnaldum and Caulker do surprise me considering his good success rate at Bvb.

Also the majority of targets aren't really that weird, are they? The signings might not be earth shattering, but they are very good "deals". I wouldn't expect much better without CL.

Apologies if I sounded aggressive, just want to know why you seem to rate Klopp's decision making.

Thanks a ton.

msheisenberg

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know what you are talking about.}

1.) 19 Jul 2016 21:49:37
Hi ed002, sorry I wasn't clear enough. I was referring to this:

Ed002's Note - I am not surprised at Klopp making odd choices - I am not convinced that it makes any sense to loom to someone like GW. }

I agree Wijnaldum is an odd choice, but confused as to why you find it not surprising.

Also, in general, you have several times implied that Klopp's decision-making is overrated. Just wanted you to elaborate on that.

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - My feeling is that Klopp could do much better in the transfer market. It has been no secret.}

Very diplomatically put Ed.
