Why are people insistent that a DM will block Bajcetic’s progression? Bajcetic played DM out of necessity not because that is his natural position.

If anything the signings of Mac Allister and Szoboszlai block his progression but nobody is taking about that. Possibly because it doesn’t suit the anti-Endo agenda, or the thought of having a new shiny toy worth £110m has made everyone starry eyed.

Personally I think Bajcetic will always shine and he will get minutes because he has already earned Klopp’s trust/ faith, which is not given lightly and rarely retracted.

He was a CD as a kid and then converted to a MF so naturally you would assume that would be at CDM. I certainly believe that's were his future will be.

Agreed Billy. He’s very young, slight and composed on the ball it’s easy to forget or not realise he’s over 6ft tall. If he continue with this system of a defender stepping into midfield when in possession, I could see it being him in future for us like Stones does for City.

Bajetic can play any of the midfield roles which is a huge compliment for him.

Where he ends up playing mostly will be anyone’s guess. But personally I think the lad has been at his best when playing as the left or right of the midfield 3 over DM.

I think bajcetic will end up at dm personally. Once he gets his fitness levels and strength up. He can tackle and intercept, he can turn out of tight spaces and has a lovely long ball on him. Excited for his future and looking forward to seeing him come on again this season.

Bill, I agree. I don't even know if Baj will be a DM cos his is again, just a kid whose body is still developing so he could be played in another position in CM. Let's wait and see. I have no idea why the comparison with Endo is even coming up.

Also to those sayin this, did they have these reservations when we were in for Caicedo and Lavia and about to spend a British record fee and 50m plus respectively?

If they did then, great cos they are consistent. If they didn't and they are now out to get Endo by using Baj as a foil (Baj who they didn't care for when salivating for Caicedo and Lavia) then for sure, the agenda is out on Endo. Not surprised if that is the case. It's expected now these days esp. the ones who got "embarrassed" cos the club did not do what they wanted.

Endo is the perfect age/ level of his career to help Bajcetic.

He’s not someone who’s winding his career down but he’s also someone who is going to be around at a high level long enough for Bajcetic to take over.

Bajcetic has played DM in the PL twice for Liverpool. He also played when the team were playing shockingly bad, so it will be interesting to see how much game time he gets if the team play well and if Klopp finds a spot for him. Personally I don’t think he will play as much as some think, unless we are stacked with injuries or poor form. We shall see.
