I find it extraordinary how he's managed to pick up 5 bookings when he's barely played. It's obviously because he gives 100% every second he's on the pitch (said with just a sprinkle of sarcasm)

I know you asked Salah the question, Florian, but I'll give you my take on it. At the ground he has 100% support with fans singing his name, though, to be fair, there's not many words to learn! Regards to on here, as I hardly use any other form of social media, I would say opinion is divided. I want him to do well, to shut me up, but I don't think he will ever cut it. I think we will end up cutting our losses in the summer.

It was always a matter of time before the fanbase turned on Darwin. I thought he had played pretty well until the Newcastle game. Before that, he was excellent against Real and his City cameo. That performance on Tyneside was a really bad one and seems to have depleted his confidence entirely. He is still trying but you can tell every touch is off now.
It seems like all parties are resigned to him moving on now. A shame as I have been and still am a big fan of him. For now, we need him to just stay available and keep trying for the team/ squad. You cannot fault his effort and passion.

Pelican I mentioned this the other day but there is a huge difference between being critical of one of our players underperforming and turning on them.
Nunez is one of the most supported players at home games. Regardless of what he does the crowd are alway behind him.

I don’t think supporters will turn on him, because they rarely do that with any of our players. What they will do, like with others in this present squad who may not cut it at the highest level or suit our system, is take a view at some point and almost be indifferent whether they stay or go.
I’d like all of our players to be an amazing success, and be an 8/ 10 or above each week. If they were we’d either win the league each year or finish in the top few which is more important to me than the individual. No one would moan if he scored a few, it could reignite him because he’s got all the raw attributes, and we need him scoring.

HessleRedTom, you just reminded me of one of my favourite tales regarding Alan Kennedy. Apparently at half time, when he made his debut for us, he was so bad, Paisley turned to Joe Fagan and said "I think they shot the wrong Kennedy". More concerned how Arne will react if Spuds set up like Amorim on Sunday, after Carragher doing an eight minute slot on Sly Sports, highlighting how Amorim nullified Liverpools front four press, by utd goalkeeper kicking everything long, no playing out from the back and going over liverpools front four press aerially, so instead of our front four facing utds goal, they were turned purposely to face our goal.
