We’ve gone pretty big so far in our signings. Top Top Quality. If we go for a striker I think he’ll be of that same mould.

We would have no centre forward still and we’d be downgrading Diaz to Fofana.

people fixating on forwards when its our CB position that we are weakest in atm. One injury to Konate or VVD and we are looking at only Gomez as cover. I like the guy but I reckon we need more depth than that or we are looking at a Philips/ Williams situation again. Only this time the drop off in quality is much worse - our U23 CBs are currently nowhere near as good as those 2.

I don't want Ferran Torres. He is not better than Diaz, IMO.

Certainly possible, and I would love it, I just don't think it will happen. Guess I'm just a bit of a pessimist!
