I was a big Nunez supporter but after last season? we'd be foolish to keep him. Sell him and Diaz, bring in Isak and a CB.

Loved Nunez but he's had too many chances and not delivered.
Did wonder whether Wirtz would help him, but I'd rather someone more clinical like Isak.
{Ed001's Note - also, he gave up last season and stopped trying when we were right in the middle of a title battle - unforgivable to put himself above the team to that big a degree when it matters like that.}

Totally agree ed001 I said awhile back that he downed tools bottom lip pouting was unforgivable for me so he needs to go.

{Ed001's Note - if the season had been going nowhere, it might have been understandable that he was stroppy about not being in the team and he might have even been able to claim he had a point. But when the team is top of the league and winning, if you are sat on the sidelines you have to accept it and get on with it as it is clear that the team selection is doing the job.}

I recall Curtis Jones putting in 1 or 2 terrible performances aswell. The sheer lack of effort and tracking back was disgraceful especially the Chelsea match. Some players show what they could become in a weak dressing room or under a soft coach.

Think Jones bad performances were when the league was already won Batman, or just on the verge of it. Darwin came on and strolled around vs Wolves at Anfield when it still could have turned into a title race.

Indeed, Ed. Darwin got his fair share of starts and majority of the time, he didn't finish his chances. He seemed to have stopped trying despite the fact that he scored some crucial goals to keep us in the title race BUT like you, he should have just gutted it out for the team cos we were on the cusp of doing something great and he checked out. You can't do that and make it about yourself.
The likes of Chiesa never did that. Endo never did that. Elliot, Tsimikas etc. They never did that. Darwin brought this on himself and that's on him.

Yeah, that was what did it for me as well, Ed1. I expected much more from him than that, especially considering - as you said, the amount of support he received from the fans. Really unprofessional from him.
