Afternoon all,
Just one for Ed please mate if you could. If Newcastle don't get Sesko who else can you see them going going after? Of course this would be if they got wissa too. I wonder who else they would class as a “replacement” in their eyes
Cheers in advance mate.
{Ed001's Note - they are running out of options as far as I can see. There don't seem to be any big names they can target.}

Isak most likely to stay. They ll convince him to stay one more year and move in the summer. Just my take.

Gabriel jesus? Surely surplus now.
{Ed001's Note - also not good enough.}

Vlahovic
Watkins
Jackson
Nunez
Ramos.
Then, Keegan, shearer, McDonald, Whitehurst.

Thanks for the reply mate, do you know who their targets are if they don't end up getting Sesko? I think he’s waiting for United personally Sesko, as bad as they have been they still do attract players unfortunately.
Becoming less confident as the days go by now off them letting him go. can't believe we are in a situation where one of the best 9s in the league wants us and it might not happen as Newcastle couldn’t sign a back up it would be a killer. On that too sorry Ed 2 questions, if we don’t get Isak this summer, can you see us returning next summer or jan? Similar to virg.
{Ed001's Note - they will get 2 strikers and we will sign Isak, I am sure of it. They have turned the fans against him already, which was the first step.}

Bet they end up with Wissa and Ollie Watkins.

I think they want one prem proven (Wissa) and one young player with high potential to be something special (Sesko)
I think they will get Wissa from the rumours out there that progress is being made there.
If they miss out of Sesko, maybe someone like Samu Aghehowa fits the bill.
Nick Woltemade could also be an option although bit of a different striker.
Jackson, Nunez and Kolo Miani are all available I think if they go down that route.
There are options there but it's whether the Newcastle team thinks any of them are good enough.
I think Samu Aghehowa fits the bill of what they are looking for in a lot of ways to be honest if they miss out on Sesko.

I still think they get Sesko and Wissa. I get that United are sniffing around Sesko, but do they have the cash to match RBL's asking price and payment terms at the moment?

Ramos would be a good shout for them.

Cheers for that reply ed,
Some of there online fans are acting like mugs still wanting him to stay desperately? Almost as if we won't be giving them a record fee for him. A couple of them have wound me up saying selling to a rival and it can't happen and they would rather sell to PSG next year or Barcelona it all seems so desperate from them. Seen loads of there fans too saying they would welcome him back with open arms if he sacked his agent and would let him go next year happily? As said all seems so desperate, if one of our players kicked up a fuss regardless i wouldn’t want them here. When all the shenanigans with Coutinho started that was enough from me and i was all over Trent before the Madrid move. Anyways just my take folks if anyone cares haha but hopefully Ed you are right about Isak all my fingers are crossed we get him, especially with it coming out now we won't target no one else.

Ed001 if you please, how are united still able th throw money round like they are printing it after the last few seasons they've had with regards spending.
{Ed001's Note - they are not. The reason negotiations took so long with Mbeumo is because they needed to get favourable terms.}

What about Lookman for the barcodes? Have they had a sniff as far as you are aware Ed001?
{Ed001's Note - no.}

Couldn’t agree more KingKenny. They’ve embarrassed themselves those geordie fans this summer.

KingKenny1809, there was a time where our fans were doing the exact same thing when any of our great players like Suarez, Torres and Cou for example were doing an Isak to get out of LFC at the time. That's just stuff that will happen cos it's human nature to worry that one of your iconic:legendary players if kicking up a tsunami to leave your team.
That being said, I do agree with you that some of the NUFC fans have made a right bell of themselves with their cocky and beligerant comments/ takes. I mean, they are literally saying like you said, that us and them are rivals hence, they don't want to "sell Isak to a rival". Wait, when did this rival thing happen with NUFC cos I must have missed it?
Also when we were having to sell our big guns against our will, these same fans loughed at us for being a "selling club" and now the shoe is on the other foot now and they can't handle it. That's on them and they better get used to their best players being cherry-picked by their "rivals". Just saying.
