Seeing bradley is injured which is unfortunate its further proof he can't be trusted to play 10 games in a row, its unfair for frimpong to be expected to play the majority off the season so with that it would be sensible to keep luca Stephenson around who has looked reliable an can play in multiple positions.

Gomez (who appreciate has major injury problems as well can cover right full too) also Curtis Jones and If I remember correctly Szobo even filled in there for a game. Not sure it's fair to stunt Lucas growth when realistically he won't play much unless we don't sign any centre halves then we may have to. Would rather the kid get proper game time and see what he can develop into personally.

Why is it unreasonable to expect Frimpong to play the majority of the season? That’s what he’s been doing so far in his career.

Endo and Dom can play there also.

Dom would be an exceptional right back if the midfield 2 is Mac and Grav. Has all the attributes I think.

I could see Luca stay, but not as RB cover - Jones, Szobo, Gomez and Endo as well as Bradley and Frimpong - but I could see him staying as a CB option - looked comfortable there against PNE when I watched the whole game.

Spot on, Zed. And it's not like Bradley will be injured for the whole season (knock on wood) so if Frimpong has to play majority of the season then, so be it.

Gomez and play in the same sentence ? 10 years at the club he’s missed the equivalent of 30 games a season when broken down.

Why put square pegs in round holes, szbozlai looks brilliant in the deeper role , yes we play a silly amount of games frimpong will need resting if Bradley is injured.

But hailstones, Oli hit the nail on the head when he said that Bradley won't be injured for the whole season (famous last words, lol! ), albeit he did miss 17 games last season, and 31 the season before, but seems like growing injuries a bit like Stevie had early in his career when he grew quite a bit.
I think one of Frimpong's other attributes is his availability. He missed no games in 24/ 25, 2 in 23/ 24, 0 in 22/ 23 and you have to go back to 21/ 22 when he missed 11 games with a ligament tear.
I'm happy with our RB cover for this season. It's unlike 20/ 21 in that we were quite short with senior team options to cover CB - Hendo and Fab left holes in midfield whereas if we had to play Szobo or Endo at RB, we have other high quality options to cover their roles elsewhere.

Bradley is a young lad and youngsters tend to get injuries as they are growing. He’s a quality player.

Spot on, Zed and RJ.
Hailstones, Bradley's inability to stay fit does not prove anything other than that he is still growing into his body hence, niggles will come around.
Also, if you think Bradley is a good as he has shown then, you're going to have to abide with him in hope that he overcomes these niggles as his body grows, just like the club did with Gerrard with his back issues. What if the club had given up on Gerrard due to his niggling back at the time? Yeah, I thought so.
Relax and allow time to to it's work.

Apart from his missed timed header Luca has done really well in friendlies .
