I tell you what I am genuinely concerned that there could be trouble between fans on Monday night. This saga has really fuelled a fire and judging by the reaction of some Newcastle fans they will be baying for blood.
Please guys if you are going to the game don’t get involved, get in, get out and get home safe.
It’s only football and not worth risking your life and the lives of others. I just hope we are not talking about fan trouble after the game we’ve already been let down by one imbecile at the opening game.

I feel like the new “rivalry” between Liverpool and Newcastle is pretty one sided.
They hate us because of this Isak situation, but they’re just another club in the league to Liverpool fans.

It's completely idiotic of them if they start inciting violence against Liverpool fans, they should be pointing fingers at their own ownership for screwing the situation up and getting them into a mess this transfer window. Why haven't they built a new training ground, why haven't they got a director of football in, why didn't they deal with the isak situation decisively before it was allowed to fester? The ownership is allowed to hide in the shadows and rouse the rabble against isak and opposition fans without reprisal while Eddie Howe has to sit in endless press conferences answering two million questions about isak and the Newcastle squad have to have this cloud hanging over their heads, just ridiculous.

I was in a pub with a load of Newcastle fans last night and they were pretty sound really and the footie banter was top class.

That's the way to calm things down, PB. You keep having digs at NUFC and its idiotic rabble of fans because the club hasn't sold its best player to us.
Be honest, no one really cares about NUFC, we just want their most prized asset, footballing wise, and some of you can't cope with them wanting to hang onto it or only willing to sell it when it suits them more.

JK I know some Newcastle fans too and the vast majority will be fine. They are frustrated and angry but they are good people and wouldn’t kick off.
However there are always the minority who will go there looking for trouble. Even my mates from Newcastle have said the same.
This game as an evening game, away from home, after everything that’s happened has got trouble written all over it.
I just hope that the organisation from the club and the police is right and that all our fans get home safe (and Newcastle fans actually) .

Robbo enjoy reading your posts mate and I think there’s always a chance of a minority kicking off at any game.
I think it’s a bit harsh to tarnish Newcastle or any clubs fans with the same brush though mate.
It would be like rival fans saying be careful going ti Anfield as you will suffer racial abuse.
There’s idiots all over the world and at every club.

Cant see any violence kicking off between the fans . we usually get on well. they'll be up for the match like they usually are . been a few times n never seen anything incident bfr . I think they're similar people to scousers.

I remember the two 4-3’s very clearly and I watched them both in a pub half Liverpool half Geordies.
There wasn’t any trouble except a few glasses being smashed when Collymore’s goal went in ?
Geordies are alright, passionate about their club but not trouble causers.
