Apparently kit deal is worth £1bn over 10 years. Makes sense as in line with City’s Puma deal.

That should be enough to buy a new central defender.

That's based on what a reporter claimed, but do we have any evidence of that? I'd love the kit to be worth that much; Slot basically explained in today's press conference that we run a self-sustaining model, so these deals are important and I'm not saying the deal for the kit isn't worth as much. But I think that's just a number someone estimated, unless there's evidence to that effect.

60-70 million per season seems to be the general consensus.
Maybe the reporter is confusing dollars and pounds.

Apparently its worth more to us than the Nike deal and we were pulling in over a £100m a season from that.

Or dollars to euros.

Or Euros to Turkish lira.

Oh my goodness, could it be the Fourth Estate acting in a sensationalist manner to encourage interest in their fish and chip wrapper of the day?
I believe Ed02 counselled many, many times about contributors to the forum not speculating on finances as it is pretty advanced stuff when discussing £ multi billion with a global footprint.
