On Ekitike, when he came on, I thought to myself he was playing with a swagger. Oozed confidence and like he thought he was the best player on the pitch, in that good way the best strikers have. Must admit, in a little worried about the red though, yes he’s young, but at the top level, better decision making is needed - hopefully a brain fart, and not a sign of things to come.

He was very good again today.
I do wonder was Isak's first goal in his head a little with that celebration.
I don't think he ll do it again to be honest. And his performance was very very good. Outside of the yellow cards and yet another god awful header.

He's young and extremely confident in his abilities. You can't put in the kind of performances he has so far without confidence. OK, it went slightly too far today, but I do have sympathy.
I don't know what it would feel like to have fifty-odd thousand foreigners singing your name multiple times per week. He's only been here for a couple of months. I can't honestly say I wouldn't make the same mistake if I were in his shoes.
I think we, as fans, need to give the kid a break, he's playing absolutely brilliantly when Slot picks him and that should be our focus.
Let Slot and the leadership group give him his medicine which, if Slot's press conference is anything to go by, is already underway. Not a happy man.

Remember Alisson trying a Cruyff turn and conceding right at the beginning of his LFC career. It was a brain fart, it happens, it won't happen again. I'm loving watching him play. We'll miss him this weekend but love the arrogance and the goals.

Ekitike had a silly moment last night and it’s cost him his place in the squad this coming weekend.
Slot didn’t look best pleased but was great that the crowd were fully behind the lad chanting his song.

Probably one of the dumbest red cards we’ll ever see as both yellows were needless and self inflicted. But, he’ll learn from it and no doubt Slot will have politely reminded him of his overall duties to his team mates. The funniest bit of it all was Frimpong desperately sprinting to him to tell him to keep his shirt on and looking exasperated when he saw Hugo had taken it off. You’ve got to laugh at it and move on.

Almost as silly as Darwin's early red card.
Only difference is Ekitike only offers us goals and link up play where as Darwin offered us chaos so Darwin could be forgiven and Ekitike should be thrown to the wolves.

RE Ekitike red card, hate the fact players get a red in one comp but are banned for another, never understood it.
