My concern is that after 9 games we are not improving, I get it takes time to bed in players but even with new players you expect to see progress. They are all top players its not like we are putting out guys who haven't played football at a high level, and all are internationals also. Are there signs of improvement, I'd go as far as saying we are getting worse when you watch Palace and now Galatasaray. Let's hope Slot finds a way to make us harder to score agai st, as so. eone posted recently we had conceded 10 goals after the Palace game but only conceded 4 at the same time last season. But our scoring was nearly on part with this time last season. Seems its defending that should be Slots priority, only my take of course and I'm sure others see everything as ok as we are still. top and only lost 2 matches so far.

It does feel like this could turn into a 20/ 21 or 22/ 23 season very quickly. Slot needs to make sure that doesn’t happen.

We were already 6 pts off the lead and 7th after 6 games in 22/ 23 and it was already clear our big CF signing was not good enough. This season were two points clear at the top and our big CF signing (who most thought was the best in the league last year) has hardly played. We've won all our league games but one. I think some fans have bought into the narrative that we were going to retain the league at a canter. That was never going to happen, Arsenal are a very good side.

It’s the ebbs and flows of a premier league season. This week we’ve had a bad couple of games so Arsenal will win the league easily.
Next week we’ll play well and we’ll be the new favourites again. Then City will have good game etc etc.
It’s not linear and it will all change many times throughout the season.

These players are good enough…. This is now Slot’s job to earn his money and settle things down. It’s coaching, man management and mentality, they don’t turn rubbish overnight. Our job is to sing louder!

Well, both full backs are brand new and the other one wasn’t a starter last year. So half the defence is new and add to that Konate head is somewhere else this year.
We’ve got a new midfielder and the attack has been completely refreshed.
Give it time.
One of the reasons we did so well last year is that the team all knew each other very well and we had no new signings to bed in, opposite to this year.
