I'm simply amazed how many new usernames who have suddenly appeared with a bad run. Where were you when Skit won the PL? Where were you when we won 7 in a row just a few games ago?
7 games is like a grain of sand on a beach. Stop being so knee jerk. Either Slot gets it right or someone else will. We have a top squad - try watching it when souness was manager, you'd soon get some real perspective of what bad looks like.

More traffic on the group is surely a good thing.
Some of the comments are the polar opposite of what I think but it’s all about opinion.
Performances and results have been very poor recently but I’m still glass half full mentality.
Apologises if my comment lacks humanity or empathy and makes me look like a knuckle dragging imbecile to any best fans in the world.

1jj you can’t tell people what to do. If someone feels like coming on here to vent and give there opinion then let them. Life’s is stressful and it better to let out feelings rather than bottle them up. These new posters mite have watched the souness days.
01 Nov 2025 09:01:40
Agreed 1jj. Out of the woodwork.
01 Nov 2025 09:18:37
If Slot looses tonight I believe that would be the worst run by our club since the 1950s? I don’t think that’s being knee jerk. Our run has to be taken in context with what is expected at Liverpool and not some lower PL club. It is unprecedented, that’s the reality.
01 Nov 2025 09:18:58
1jj - I’m a relatively new poster and I’ve been critical - is that not allowed?
I’ve been critical but not disrespectful in any way and I’ve said before I still want the bloke to succeed and I hope he pulls it off - If he does I’ll be one of the first to sing his praises .
ATM he’s not giving off that vibe that he’s confident of doing that and perhaps he’s being too honest in his after / pre match press conferences as PB has said.
He’s also paid the big £ to get the right calls and as with most jobs on a lot less money you don’t get the praise for doing well but you’ll soon hear about it when your floundering!
To say it’s only 7 games and it’s like a grain of sand on a beach is nonsense when we / he literally can’t afford another bad run like this for the rest of the season!
Anyway, onwards and upwards!

I agree mate…and whilst everyone is entitled to their opinions, it’s ironic they those opinions aren’t voiced when we’re playing well, hence your post is correct.
It’s the same on all the media platforms too, all out of the woodwork when we lose, no where to be seen when we win ?.
01 Nov 2025 09:33:32
I was certainly around in the Souness days, and managers before. That's why I'm remaining optimistic. When we've walked through this storm we will still have Wirtz, Ekitike, Isak, to take us forward. That's a bit different to Paul Stewart, Mark Walters and Dean Saunders.
Is everything perfect? Definitely not; but we are still in a good place, or we will be. Manager needs to be given time to sort the mess that we're in, and I'm sure he will be.
01 Nov 2025 09:43:35
Losing games is not most fans problems if they can see improvement and effort. Blaming fitness this far into the season is ludicrous, tactics have been poor. Let’s not get busy with arguments on a match day hope for a good performance and result.
01 Nov 2025 09:50:31
7 games?
Sorry no. It's way more than 7 games
People are well within their rights to be complaining after watching recent performances.
They have been nothing short of dire I'm afraid.
This drop off in performance, goes "way" back to before the last 7 games
New toys or not. The tools are what they are. It's up to him to get the best out of them
And looking at only the most recent performances, sorry to say, but it hasn't been pretty at all.
01 Nov 2025 10:25:28
It's always been the same on here, or at least for the last 5 years or so. The page is quiet when we're winning and busy when we lose.
1jj's observation is also very true though, there's definitely been a flood of new usernames appearing on here to criticise over the last few weeks. I'm all for honest opinions and debate, but why register just to moan? It's a safe bet that is slot wins the next 3 in a row, there won't be an influx of new users saying "I knew he'd turn it around, in slot we trust! ".

Nice summary of your opinion of the current situation @Thingifbeauty. All you need to add to make it a positive contribution is say
1. Why, in your opinion, things have been going wrong
2. What steps you would implement to getting us back on track.
3. If your opinion re point 2 is get rid of Slot, who would you replace him with and what would you want the new head coach to do to get the team back on track?
Not having a go, just asking genuine questions the same question applies to everybody else offering an opinion on where we are, what we aren’t doing that we should be doing and what we are doing 5hat we shouldn’t be doing ….

WDW I’ll have a go mate and it’s only opinion
1. The intensity in our play is extremely slow and that’s in possession and out of possession. The players don’t seem to press and when we do pass the ball we seem like it can be safety first a lot of the times. Add to that we look nervous as hell defending any set pieces and balls over the top. It’s almost like we aren’t playing to the players strengths at times. Ie we don’t put balls in the box for Isak when he’s on, full backs are inverting, Wirtz is playing far too deep, crazy how many balls we seem to play in the air to Mo. I genuinely think if we played fast paced football and to the players strengths we’d blow teams out of the water.
2. Stop with the possession based stuff and tell them to take more risks. Appreciate we can’t be gun ho but it’s pointless being risk adverse or low on intensity to save energy when the outcome is losses and injuries anyways.
3. Absolutely no idea. I really want Slot to turn this around. I like the guy. Despite my apparent lack of empathy from a stranger who’s never met me, Slot has been here through the good times and the extremely hard times in a very short space of time. He deserves that backing from the board and players.

Absolutely jk23.
01 Nov 2025 12:41:57
WDW, no problem at all.
Is absolutely fine you've called me out.
I'm just annoyed, that's all
From previous results and performances, its just not good enough
I'm not talking solely about results, every team has "slumps" and goes through tough patches
My main concern, is that we have been here for some time now, and I'm afraid I just can't see any form of improvement whatsoever. In actual fact, things have become worse!
How is it fixed, I have no idea. I'm not paid to be a premier league manager. I'm a massive fan of the club, and have been for 41 years! . I'm sad.
I hate the way the team had been set up to play recently. The last cup game capped it off. It was truly abysmal and sorry to say, the result from that game was never going to be any different to what actually happened.
I 100% agree with JK23, I also like slot. It's the tactics of late that I don't like.
It's clear as day that it isn't working!
Change something, anything.
We are just to slow, safe and laboured. Please for the love of god, bring back some spark. Take risks, play on the front foot, don't always take the safe sideways option.
Like you all, I'm a fan. I'm not here to criticise, I'm here venting and complaining out of pure frustration!
If something isn't working, try another way!
Don't be afraid to be a manager
If someone isn't performing, bench them. Massive contract or not, doesn't matter.
The team needs a proper manager right now, unfortunately slot isn't doing himself any favours by letting this continue.
Psm I actually like the guy funnily enough and want him to turn this around more than anything. But it has to start now!

Irish of course a run like that is hard to take, totally agree but it also has to be taken into account what this man has achieved. You say we are different to some lower level Premier league club and of course your right, but not a pundit or expert in sight expected us to win the league last year, most thought we'd struggle for top 4 or 5.They thought there were many better sides than us but Slot and the players proved them wrong. There two sides of this fence and neither side are totally right or wrong but its been a few weeks, not a year like down the L4.He's earned the support of the fans for longer than a month long run of bad form in my humble opinion.
A lot has also been made of excusesfro. Slot but as acouple on here has said i think its a bit of a Dutch translation thing and he's just been a bit too honest. hopefully someone has had a word with him and he'll cut down on that a bit now.
01 Nov 2025 16:03:05
I thought we would win the League Florian and I posted how fortunate Slot was to inherit this group of players after falling at the last hurdle the season before.
01 Nov 2025 17:27:18
Lads, we are all fans. Every one of us and it's obvious due to the amount of posts being sent over the last couple of weeks. We're concerned about the state of affairs on the pitch and how we're going to improve. I would say that 90% plus of us here want Slot to improve it, get going again, start playing some decent football and start winning a few games to get us back towards the top of the table.
But, regardless of whether you are a supporter since 1977 like me and many others, or you're new to it since yesterday, matters little if Slot cannot or will not do the above. He'll be gone and another will take the reins. It's totally in his hands and no one else's. Hopefully the revolution will be televised to all tonight.
