Im all for giving him time to turn this round, he did win the league in his 1st season, everyone tells me, ' yea with klopps team', but klopp didn't win it in his last sesson with his team so he does have a little credit in the bank surely.
My main issue is as I have posted before, Iunderstand that their are no guarantees but it would have to be potentially the right guy the right fit as I don't want to see us falling away bouncing from 1 manager to the next! The football ain't pleasant to watch, but we are back in top 4, still in champions league and an FA Cup to go at! Hardly doom and gloom!
Just as a discussion point,
Who, is available, all the right credentials, and that you would want as our next manager?

Klopp is certainly one of the greatest managers the game has ever seen. He is the only one who won a team the league without even managing it. The way Slot is setting up the team now makes it clear they won it despite him, not because of him.

That's the thing.
Not the right guy IMO. Unless he completely rips up his Philosophies and beliefs on football and goes allot more aggressive and intense (not happening)
However, for god sakes he's won 2 leagues in his short managerial career. Winning the premier league with us was nothing more than miraculous. An incredible achievement placing him in a unique category.
There's no one else out there available even remotely close to his CV and experience. That's the reality.
Alonso is the dream, but he's not available as of right now.
There is no one else. We need to ride this out for a few months. After January and hopefully a few signings and let's see where we're at.

The man is an enigma.
To win the league last season was practically impossible, yet he did it.
And to play so negative and boring, suck the soul out of this group of players is also practically impossible, and yet he's also performed another Slot miracle
I can't quite believe it to be honest and it just feels like the season is over already.

Can't believe it either, LFC08. Slot dominated the league last season. Only to wet the bed royally the season after with things of his own doing. There should be a case study for this type of swing in the future.
