I can't disagree with this. Ten years of Jürgen Klopp's blood, sweat, and belief dragged Liverpool back to the summit of European football. In just eighteen months, Slot, Hughes, and Edwards have dismantled that work with alarming speed, turning a restored giant into a club drifting without authority, identity, or direction.

But with a league title, let's not dismiss everything that's happened.

Ah we are making money Rome that's brilliant. I'm delighted to hear that.

When the CLOT goes he will have been a bigger failure than Ten Hag?
Ten Hag won two major honours FA Cup and Carabao.
CLOT has improved our Honours Board by only one major trophy.
CLOT has also blamed the Wind in his post match interview, doesn't even understand its the same for both sides when ye turn round at half time!
Luck and only Lady Luck won him the league last year. That has also turned round against him this season.
No More COACHES we have to have a MANAGER who signs his own players and coaches his own players.
If anyone had of said to Shankly. Paisley, Clough, Ferguson, Klopp that they would only be allowed to Coach they would of got a right hook to the chin.
There can be only one person steering the club CLOTS tenure has proved this to our demise sadly. (anyone remember Commoli Director of Football that ended in failure Edwards has never wore a pair of footballl boots in his life, yet is involved in signing players that's how Sh! te this Coach only lark is and the reason for our downfall).
YNWA 97 and 20
Why.

That's all good Rome, won't last if we continue to decline. No one is skirting over a title win but we're in the here and now and yes the club has had its hard work dismantled.

Let's see what the numbers say when / if we don't get champions league footy.

Being in the CL not only generates revenue from participation and progress but is also a condition of the sponsorship which has recently driven us up the money league.
Dropping out of CL hits the whole business operation. And it will also impact the financial scope to complete the squad rebuild that Hughes and Edwards started in the summer.

I totally agree, Frode. My response was simply regards to the state of the club at this moment in time. I'm confident that the owners won't allow us to go into free fall, that obviously wouldn't be in their best interest. What action they choose to take we will have to wait and see.
The owners have made mistakes along the way, of that there is no doubt. However, they've given us a 60k stadium and a state of the art training ground. Like I say, let's all wait and see what they do to get us out of this current mess, on the pitch.

Endo3, if we don't make money we don't get the players I assume you crave for.

Let's not get too excited lads. Slot's run his course and should be relieved of his responsibilities, but we were in much worse shape than this before Klopp took over.
Apart from at the back where we're a bit light, our squad is one of the best in Europe. You couldn't say that about the squad Rodgers left for Klopp.

Well first of all his surname Slot. Only a child would call him Clot and if you think winning 2 domestic cups comes anywhere close to winning a PL title then you really are a child.
I want Slot out but let's not calling him names to get some sort of point across and let's remember he is only the second manager to win the PL in 30 odd years. We can all argue to point without disrespecting him.

Players quit trying, players too old, too many changes over the summer, too much tactical changes, not the right recruitment, it's a transition season, coach/ sporting director structure doesn't work, more players needed.
All these explanations and more have been bandied around about what's going on this year, but I personally don't think we can read too much into things when the tactics and player management have been so poor. Let's get a new coach in and reassess.
I get that it's easy to blame a sporting director coach system right now when we and others are publicly struggling, but the transition from Klopp (manager) to Edwards and co (sporting director/ coach) has not been smooth precisely because didn't have a clear footballing identity that could be handed off (Slot wanted low intensity, low fitness possession).
We definitely need a review of the whole system because mistakes have obviously been made, but first step is to get the team back to putting in good performances each match (higher intensity, attacking football). In particular, I don't want to write off/ move on any players until then.

Well said, Irish.
