I think I've got to the point that while he is manager I don't think i can bear to watch us any more. The actually feeling in my body ranges between anger and heartbreak watching this club sink lower and lower, like the titanic and not one of those in charge want to get wet and try to save the sinking ship.

To be fair it took an extremely lucky deflected cross from Cherki to free Haaland from Virgil's shackles followed by an insane rush of blood to the head by Alisson to ruin Slot's game plan. Fine margins.
But also if Slot had played someone who was a RB (will Ramsay finally get a chance to show his worth? ), then the first goal would have been offside anyway. So it is also partially in Slot (again).

Thiagos Mate, that window to sack Slot has gone. Edwards and Hughes have made their bed and it is now, up to them to lie in it along with Slot. It is what it is.

That rush of blood to the head was purely because of the decision to sit back and defend a lead before conceding, Ali was desperate not to concede another and made a rash decision, which is on a certain level understandable if regrettable, but he shouldn't be put in that position in the first place.
