Honestly, reckon there's just as much chance that we'll win this as any other potential fixture.
The lads will up their game against City, whilst, if we had Southampton, Port Vale or West Ham/Brentford, I could see us being lethargic and losing.

The doom and gloomers need to relax for a second, cos they are doing Way too much. You may be frustrated with the season, the manager, and the players, cos I know I am, but, again, the over exaggeration is way Ott here, IMO.
Klopp once said before the semi final in 21/22 that, "If you want to win anything in England or in Europe, you are gonna have to get past City at some point." Clearly, that has Not changed, cos that stuff is just baked in at this point.
And what if we actually dumped them out? Or, you think that is not a real possibility? Again, doing too much.
It's gonna be tough, esp. away from home, but who knows what form both teams are gonna be in? Injuries, fitness, momentum etc. All these things are factors. So, get behind the bys and the manager, and let's give it a right go.

I swear some people know nothing about the club they supposedly support.
I've grown up on Liverpool achieving the improbable and sometimes the seemingly impossible.
In 1986 we were 10th at Christmas and won the double. Istanbul 2005, beating the apparently unstoppable Chelsea on the way.
I was at Anfield when we did the impossible against Barca, and the comeback against Dortmund. We are built on these things.
Yes, it's been a poor season considering we are the current champions, but there's no excuse for giving up.

There is a lack of imagination on this forum at the moment, which is depressing.
City, like most of our CL opponents, are not just going to sit back, and our best performances this season have been against teams that want to play.
What's the saying, 'If you have faith there is no need to explain; if you don't have faith, no explanation will ever be enough.' Something like that anyway.

Spot on, lads. Had the players downed tools from the kick off, would Barca, Dortmund, Chelsea, WH, Olympiakos (I can keep going) have happened even in the midst of dreadful seasons? Oh please, take the day off and cry more.
We are all peeved about this season. We know it. We get it, but at the end of the day, there is a place at Wembley to play for here so let's go give it our best and make sure to have NO regrets when all is said and done.
