Not in the know or anything but I reckon he’s getting sacked today. ??

? I second your crossed fingers mate.

It will not save this season, and we're too far along in the season. Those above will also be asked why it didn't happen sooner. It will be a long slog to the finish line.

I'd be fuming if he went now. What's the point?
If he gets sacked after losing at Brighton, then that proves he should've been sacked in October after Chelsea, when we also lost 2-1.
The season was salvageable then. We could've won the league still. Now it's completely over, and has been for ages, and it's an absolute disgrace if he goes when an interim manager is set up to fail.

I agree with you there, LFC8.

LiverpoolFC8 - I completely agree. Even though I've wanted him gone for months, the thought of them sacking him now is infuriating. It would be nothing more than proof that the spineless hierarchy have no idea what they're doing. The time to sack him was November. There's been countless times between then and now to serve a fully justified P45. They decided to back him, outside of the fact that it was the wrong decision, it was their decision.
They stuck to their guns, they backed their man, and to fire him now is just admitting that not only did they make the wrong decision back in November, but they've made the wrong decision every single week since then. They don't have the stones to make big calls in critical moments.
Slot, Hughes and Edwards all need to go.

He needs to go now. We need some life pumping into us, and the season is not over.
If we keep Slot, we won't get top 4/5.
If we get a manager that gives us some drive back, we can get top 4/5 and maybe a run in the two cups. But with him, we will lose to City and then PSG.
