If there is a problem with leaking information at the club, then one way of dealing with it is to create lots of conflicting stories.
Don't worry about it.
It suggests sources are genuine, but they're being fed strange info.

You do realise that up until the second the trigger is pulled, clubs will continue to explore multiple options, so numerous things can seem to be true at once. ITK's are relaying interpreted info, so it always comes with a dash of somebody's opinion on top. Even if you knew somebody on the board, opinions at that level still differ, so whilst Slot staying/going, Xabi, Hoeness, Nagelsmann may all be options, and discussions with all of them may be ongoing, even at board level, there's no definitive answer.
Even if I was best mates, Hogan, who wants Xabi, and you were mates with Edwards, who wants Slot, we would still have 2 different versions of the same story.
Don't take everything so literally; pinch of salt, read between the lines, use common sense, make your own mind up.

My thoughts are the club are flooding out loads of mis-information to try and find a mole.
Or else, doing it to muddy the water to try and hide what they are actually trying to do without the real news spreading.

I think this is where I am... I no longer have a clue if Slot is staying or going, but I do think LFC know...
I think they are trying to find a mole as well as muddying the waters at the same time...
Can you imagine the media circus around our club if one of these stories is true... the same questions 3 or 4 times a week... reporters camped outside the training ground...
players getting chased by them... Slot's pressers... not a fan of the man, but it would be grossly unfair on him to put him through that...
Then the same would apply to the new man in charge getting chased everywhere...
Just seems all unnecessary when they could just blow it all away with one story fed to the press... Slot is staying...

I can't fathom why people complain about rumours on a rumours site. We were spoilt with good info when Ed002 was still around but even then, things changed so fast in football that he got more than his fair share of things "wrong" too.

I am not in the know, but what I do know is Edwards, Hughes and Slot are employees of FSG and the 3 of them have contracts till 2027.
What we know is FSG will have a meeting at the end of the season and discuss the way to improve our failings this season.
The lads that come on here and contribute to the site are passing on what they have heard, read, whatever and that's welcoming because it's a rumours posting page.
Some posters are coming on to ridicule and that's different to banter.
I have been a visitor of this site from day 1 and the original football rumours site which it branched from and know we had the occasional toxic troll, but now!
Everybody as an opinion and that's what it is an opinion. When the team is losing, opinions on the site are a bit more aggressive and if posters challenge that aggressive view with facts, they are insulted.
You might have the opinion that the results this season are all down to 'Baldy', banter and you may be challenged by somebody looking at the bigger picture, who can see reasons for the drop off other than the coaches failings.
I am of the opinion that the squad is not good enough to play the 3 games a week part of the season, backed up by our losses have come when we have played 3 games a week and the odd one after international breaks.
Alison 6 losses in 34 games compared to the 11 losses in the 19 games he's missed.
Salah 29 league goals last year to the 7 he's scored this season.
It's not all down to the coach, people who want him gone because the style of football that's fine. But we played a similar style last season and won the league.
I have always said that it's nice to win looking good, but winning the points should always come first.
You might not agree in what I have written, but let's not just insult me for my views. Let's respect each other and agree to disagree.

I appreciate it is a rumours site, lads, just pointing out that it seems to change so much. I hope Slot goes and the decision is made quickly. I'm also entitled to an opinion on said rumours. I appreciate Carra and all the information he/she offers, but it doesn't mean it's true, does it?
