Has anyone read Salah's Twitter post? He’s made it wonderfully clear LFC have become slower, more controlled, less emotionally aggressive with how the system now limits instinctive attacking football hence the “moved away from a “heavy metal attacking team”.
Everyone who joins the club should adapt to it” - I think that includes managers as well.
Man, good for him — he knows he’s leaving and he gives a damn about where they're going.
“The identity needs to be recovered”
So for me this is why slot has to leave cos there’s no way on earth he will move away from his tactics no matter who they get.
Anyway just thought I’d share it.

Yeh, he's very concerned. Mo Salah loves Liverpool.
I remember, at his absolute peak, when the likes of Gary Neville used to say "he's leaving", but Salah never did, always stayed with our club, his Club.
Mentioning the style of play is the Big Hint here. He sees what we see, Arne, Hughes and Edwards can't.

Look at all the players who liked the comment.....
16 May 2026 16:44:35
Curtis Jones posting similar now...

Curtis applauding it in the comments. ?

Yeah, he's laid bare what he thinks, and I think most of the fans would agree with him.
16 May 2026 16:51:33
This would actually make me think more that Arne could be leaving.

Usually, I'm not a fan of this, but he said what has to be said.
Slot, Edwards, Hughes out.

He has to go, but I'm willing to let him stay, so Florian and Co have to eat humble pie.

Salah has proven to be everything that Virgil has not out spoken about the way club is heading.
That's why he has been thrown under the bus because he could not stand by and let the standards fall so far so fast.
All the players that are speaking out against this crap seemed to be getting moved on.
The fans need to back the right players because wants they have gone with what is left and the vile rat ? in charge next season will be a relegation battle that these pre-Madonna's will never be up for.

Maybe we can sign him on a free when Slot goes!
Slot simply cannot stay at this point, I really think we are in danger of undoing a decades worth of rebuilding.
The players can see it, the fans can see it and now I hope the board does before anymore of the rot sets in.
Unfortunately, with him not going today I think he sees out next week, and can see it being a very drab end to an incredibly disappointing season.

Florian, you'll never be a PL player like Jones. The sooner Slot is gone the better. I'm looking forward to you eating humble pie after all the nonsense you tried to shove down our necks about Slot being the best.

It is a very heartfelt quote to post. He is not wrong, slow-style football is not what Liverpool are about. What I have watched this season has been a huge turn off for me, it's just not Liverpool. Mo has been great, and I appreciate Arne winning the league, but Mo is right, we need to get back to the heavy metal football and Arne needs to move on now. Liverpool managers need to embrace the city, feel the vibe, and become one with it.
You can't do the Liverpool job part time. You will never get the fan base on side doing that. I always remember what Klopp said, it's not what people think of you when you arrive, it's what they think of you when you leave. Unfortunately for Arne, Hughes and Edward's they won't get that admiration. I hope that FSG are looking at the way the club has faded on the pitch this year and they know what needs to be done to move forward.

Worry about the club, WD. Not some blokes you don't know from Adam off the internet.
16 May 2026 17:20:42
I wasn't slagging Jones, WD. Browse by my posts, pal, because I don't even think you understand half of what you read.

I don't like the targeted attacks we're seeing on here, it's a forum and all takes are welcome.
Though, I will say I had some coming at me when I said in November Slot should be out. Might have been premature, but it felt like he was never going to change after the Feb-October performances.
Glad to see the players agree with the fans.
