Morning reds, fingers crossed this is slots last week in charge.
Eds is there a slight chance Mo stays if changes are made at the club?

That would be some narrative if that did happen.
Personally, I think it's time for both Slot and Mo to move on.
Salah is an absolute legend, but father time waits for no man.
Slot will always be in the history books for winning the title, and this season can easily be forgotten if he does depart.

Tbh I actually wouldn't mind that Ed. Over Christmas time when he seemed to be throwing his toys out of the pram I thought he was out of order but it seems he knew more of what was going on that myself.
If the right manager/coach comes in and gets our fitness levels etc up and embraces the club and culture he may well decide to give it another year.and maybe one last hurrah?
We'll see I guess.
{Ed001's Note - I did say at the time that he was not the issue, this was just a symptom. I would love him to stay, he still got better numbers than most.}

Surprised you think he would. or if indeed the powers that be would allow that.
Would that not basically be saying players rule LFC. love Salah and respect what he has done for us. but can you really fight to leave the club by having your contract cancelled, and say oh wait. manager is gone, think I will stay now.
{Ed001's Note - he wasn't fighting to leave the club, Slot was pushing him out of the club, that was what his original complaint was about. Slot wanted him gone in the summer and did everything he could to get rid of him.}

Ed001 with Salah's post and I have seen posts that Virgil is backing Slot has this affected Salah' and Virgil relationship.
{Ed001's Note - no idea, those two were not that close anyway, not like Mo is with Dom, for example.}

Ironically, now is the perfect time for both us and Mo for him to stay (sans a certain Mr Slot, of course). 2 new attackers/strikers in the club, one injured until 2027 and the other out of form.
I'd love for Mo, who certainly knows where the back of the net is, to cover the load, see out his final year and leave with a grand fanfare wishing him well.

Ed01, was Mo then given his new deal against Slot' wishes? And did slot try to get at MO by playing him out of position and out of his comfort zone on purpose just to scapegoat him and force him out that way?
Cos it seems like that is what the where the whole "Mo doesn't track back/defend" crap narrative came from esp. if the club where trying to ell him behind his back. Cheers mate.

I want Salah to stay. I've said it before, he's fit enough, he's still one of the top forwards in football, he loves the club, he hates the dumb manager and even dumber tactics. A new manager like Iraola would give Mo a renewed lease of life and another 20-25 + goals next season undoubtedly.
If there's any chance that could happen then whoever can make that happen should do so once finished ejecting Slot. Slot Out. Mo In.

Thanks, Ed. Just trying to connect the dots here and we all knew something was off when Slot tells Mo to cheat and not track back (had Szobo, Darwin Grav etc. doing the running and covering for him).
Now suddenly, he wanted Mo to track back and defend more and hug the touch line hence, making him extremely ineffective. Always knew Slot was full of agendas and thankfully, we are getting the whole truth now.
