This has been an excellent site for 10+ years I've been reading it.
But it's very quickly becoming Twitter light, constant ITK bouncing off each other, regurgitating the same false information.
Respect to the genuine ones who feel they have information to share, but this Diomande stuff has been a sham.
Original news I seen from Carra, fair enough. Thought he had information, shared it and that's exactly what the page is for.
But the 8 others jumping on said info and just tweaking it is killing the site (In my opinion).
Then when proven worng it's 'Barcola, is the man', when he inevitably stays or goes Arsenal, it'll be someone else.
If you don't have info, just stop lying. It's fine, 99.99% of people have no clue what's going on either.

I think you're getting this site mixed up with the Liverpool-Facts.co.uk site. The ITKs just post what they find out, if you believe them to be fact or not, is up to you. As you quite rightly say in your last sentence, 99% have no clue.
It's not about lying or trying to be right. Who actually cares?!?! No one really. It's a bit of fun for most to speculate. Don't take life so seriously, mate.

Some people don't do social media and don't know what's said there, it's a rumour site and it's for people to share what they have read or seen or people who have genuine contacts
It shouldn't matter who posts what, it's for giving insight right or wrong, no body should be slating anyone.

Exactly. Don't like something, don't read or read elsewhere. From day 1 this site has been built on rumours and then later on other aspects of football were added on the banter page. Regardless of which page it is, it has always been about opinions.

I know what OP is saying, but it's all part of it, can't stop it so better to just embrace.
The site has definitely evolved since Ed2 isn't there to call people out anymore. (Rip)
I do miss the far fetched ones though!

It is cool having people share their ITK knowledge
But I do take OP's point as I've noticed this shift too, especially recently.
Scrolling through each new post is like my social media feed of random fan pages that pop up with transfer update.
Feel like I have to qualify my comment by saying - "I know it's a rumours site" lol but doesn't take away from what feels like a shift on here. I think twitter-lite is a good way of putting it!
Something that made it cool back in the day was the rarity in ITK posts led mainly by ed2 and Macca. So it can lose a special edge when there becomes so many ITKs

Faith, after Ed002's passing, there was a void on the page. And then over time, that void has filled up. The quality of the info now given, is clearly far more debatable than when Ed002 was around. But what can we do?
