Not sure if I haven't already said, but Barcola reminds me a lot of Thierry Henry. Let's hope his ceiling is reached.

As crazy as it sounds, you've got a point.
Unfortunately for Barcola, PSG signed another LW who many have compared to Maradonna! Although if Barcola does end up at Liverpool, I'd say he got lucky. ?

Quite the compliment that, mate.
I genuinely wouldn't be able to pick him out of a police lineup, but if he comes in and has a Henry type impact, then what a signing he would be.

I'm well aware how good Henry was, and I'm not saying he will be or is as good as Henry at all. I also remember Henry didn't start his Arsenal career with the most confidence, and it took him just a little while to find his feet, but boy, when he did....
Barcola definitely has that little bit of swagger the same. Slows the opposition player right down and shifts the ball over 5 yards with blistering pace.
Dare I say he has that Henry-opened body finish as well.
We shall see. Something to get excited about, hopefully.

Stylistic to Henry, I can actually see it.
He’s nowhere near Henry, but I do see the comparison.
Just not sure he has Henry’s flair, but definitely has his athleticism and pace to burn. Whether the flair comes with confidence, who knows. I wouldn’t like to put that on the lads' shoulders though, the next Henry, as they are big shoes to fill, really big.

Farmerfc1515, you are aware that a lot of us saw Henry play at Monaco before he went to Juve and then, Arsenal, right? I know I did. Barcola is nothing like Henry, style nor otherwise. Shoot, Barcola is not even in the same solar system as Anelka when he was 20 at Arsenal.
I get it, you rate Barcola and this highly of him but you're doing too much here with the glazing. Some of us who were actually awake throughout Henry's career just aren't buying it. It's that simple.
