I actually think he'd have done very well with us. Frimpong and Kerkez would suit the WB roles better than FB. We'd have had to bring extra defensive players in as we'd be even more short there by having to play 3 CBs.

Chelsea never had a CM in the team; that’s the problem: two right-backs and one of them is not good enough to play right back.
Chelsea won the league with Victor Moses playing right wing back, so that’s not really an argument, is it?

Frode - definitely not a wingback in that traditional sense. But if you go back and watch how we set up off the ball, Araujo was more central and Munoz was at right back.
With the ball we played our usual variant of a 4-3-3.
