Great watch last night.

Do like to watch us play exciting football.

Macca played and fought very well, I liked him.

Did Grav look pissed off?

It doesn't matter how he looks, because he better wake up and smell the roses. He's in the process of losing his place, if he hasn't already. We've seen that we have a coach who doesn't give a damn if a player is earning 50K or 300K a week.

If you follow his script and do it well, you're in, and if you don't, then you're not in. And that's how it should be.

10 Sep 2026 11:31:22
Nyoni should be given a chance.

10 Sep 2026 11:31:48
I hope he's pissed off, we need a few more to get pissed off out there, too many soft touch whingers who throw their arms in the air when things go wrong.

10 Sep 2026 12:17:56
Wasnt the right game for Nyoni last night. He will get his chance soon though.

10 Sep 2026 12:22:07
Dont know if Grav was pissed off but he sure did have a mare out there, looked very much off the pace compared to others on the pitch.

10 Sep 2026 12:59:32
Looked like he had a face on but he gave the ball away carelessly again in dangerous areas. Grav either thrives and learns under Adoni or he's for sale in the summer.

10 Sep 2026 13:19:17
Until Gravenberch learns to put the team first and stop pissing around and going into business for himself, he'll be on the bench. He came on last night and it was evident, with another stupid flick, that so far he hasn't really learned a thing.

{Ed666's Note - he’s got to learn that his role at Liverpool is a boring and unsexy one. I would tell him if he goes beyond a certain point on the pitch he gets fined a week’s wages.

It's too early to judge anyone in this new setup. Some will adapt instantly and others will take longer. There is still plenty of time for Grav to turn it around. Let's give them some time fellas.

Ed666 does he want to do it? Andoni mentioned grav wants to score more goals etc a few weeks ago and I thought uh oh. Wirtz is the luxury player in terms of positional sense. Grav seems to want like Dom to just bomb forward, then lose the ball. He lost the ball a few times last night in dangerous positions. We really need a top 6 and a top midfielder that's excellent passing the ball and knitting it all together.
Macca has the bite to his game, he'll get stuck in and he can play some lovely balls from deep. He doesn't warrant want he's looking. He should be sold instead of us being fleeced again in wages.

Dom is terrible at tackling and winning the ball centrally. Dom might have scored but he still is a red flag centrally. I think he'd be far better on the right.
On grav, there's a lot of games. I'm sure he'll improve but if he can't play a 6 I can't see him here long-term. He's a limited midfielder. His contract will never make sense to anyone and it's created this unlikeable domino effect in the dressing room of "I want more". Hughes et co Panicked with The real Madrid rumours and his agent took care of the rest. In no World is grav earning that at any other top club.

{Ed666's Note - AI has to tell the 5 midfielders that you have to sacrifice yourself desires for the team Simple as that. If that means Dom as RB & Gravy as a 6 then so be it. If they don’t adhere get rid in January. This is where IA earns his money.

Spot on Ed, he shouldn't be allowed beyond the centre circle, end of.

10 Sep 2026 14:50:59
I think Gravenberch might be a hard player to sell if he doesn't step up. His high wages and likely large transfer fee is going to limit the number of clubs who coukd go in for him, unless he is willing to take a pay cut? Hopefully he will step up but right now for me, he is behind Nyoni in the pecking order.

{Ed666's Note - Sigh

10 Sep 2026 15:05:48
I see Macca is out of the dog box and Grav has been dumped in .

10 Sep 2026 14:39:06
I might be fabricating this in my mind but wasn't there something last season about gravs dad wanting him to score more goals or wanted him to play further up the pitch, which grav reiterated to slot. Again I might just be making that up haha.

10 Sep 2026 14:39:09
Ed, isn't that what we used to threaten Lucas Leiva with?

As for Grav, he'd better fixup quick or it's the bench for him as the weeks go by.

{Ed666's Note - Gravy isn’t half the player Lucas was. Most criminally unappreciated player in LFC history

10 Sep 2026 16:39:37
Faith, could it be that Gravenberch is in the dog house and Macca is out of it, because Macca is playing well and Gravenberch is certainly not? I'm just guessing, you'll correct me if I'm wrong.

10 Sep 2026 16:38:39
Ed666, you're preaching to the choir here, man. Loved Lucas to bits.

People just didn't seem to understand his job and how good he was and just projecting their feelings on him.

{Ed666's Note - this

10 Sep 2026 16:59:44
The irony being that Macca scored his goal because he was at the edge of the opposition box. Does Macca then get fined a weeks wages?

10 Sep 2026 17:44:46
Scouser ed1 said about gravs dad wanting him to score more, probably told him he was wasted playing the 6 role and now thinks he's prime zidane.
