Did Frimpong have a lot of injuries in Germany, that's his 2nd or 3rd time out already this season isn't it? Never watched him in Germany so don't know what his record was like.

Frimpongs played 184 games for Leverkusen across 5 seasons and all competitions. Jones I don't think they know what's wrong.

Frimpong didn’t have many injuries before joining us McGoveb. Part of me thinks he was rushed back and didn’t properly recover.

McGov, you got me thinking so I looked it up. He missed 1 game for Celtic with a knock, out for 4 days in 2019. He was out for 53 days in 2022, missing 11 games for Leverkusen and Holland with a ligament tear. And he missed 8 days in the 23/ 24 season, but no games for club, only 2 for Holland.
So total missed days in whole senior career is 65 days (he's 25 in December) with 3 injuries. At LFC he's now had 3 injuries and missed 41 days so far. Past injury history is good.

He’s got muscle injury and there’s always a chance to reinjure etc
He hasn’t played consistently as well which will be a factor.
