Sorry for a lack of news, been up the wall lately. But here’s some info I’ve been drip fed over the last few weeks if it’s of any interest.
Szoboszlai is negotiating a new contract with the club. Everything seems to be smooth and heading in the right direction and the player is very happy where he is.
The same applies to Gravenberch. His contract negotiations have stalled a tad but all parties are confident an extension will be agreed.
Wataru Endo is also set to be approached regarding a new deal.
MacAllister to Madrid is one to keep an eye on. Madrid view him as a potential Tony Kroos replacement and the lads open to it. Arne Slot would be quite unhappy to lose him but he understands this is the industry we’re in.
Lastly, don’t count Konate staying at the club out just yet. He’s still more likely than not to leave, but the door isn’t FULLY closed.

Wataru Endo - would want more game before signing, I know you can't guarantee it - maybe get if Macallister was too leave then there is Jones to contend with.
Konate - would like him to stay as he is a good player.

Liverpool are certainly taking their Japanese sponsorship deals very seriously if that's the case. I wouldn't be surprised to see John Henry as a guest character in Smash Bros at this rate.

Endo I imagine is a great guy to have behind the scenes, mature, respected and gives his all, can also be emergency defence cover, maybe he’ll start coaching badges if he hasn’t already.

Depends how Slot wants to play. I can see us being fine w Mac leaving and bringing in a 6 to allow Grav and Dom to play 8. Jones can play 6/ 8. Grav and Dom love them to extend.
Konate same as Macca for me. Happy to keep happy to replace.

Is it safe to say now that the mob have returned their pitchforks to the barn and Slot can unpack his bags again as he will be staying? It’s just that as way, way, far back as 4 days ago a sizeable portion of the contributors on this board were into a debate about who our next manager was going to be.

Have to admit for the sake of my sanity I took a break from the site for a few days.
One thing we are overlooking wrt Maccas contract, is if he goes we lose Le reclutador ;-)
